Valerie pov .

   I tried all I could to dismiss this young man , something was definitely not right about him but  the nevertheless I had to focus on my job so as not get into trouble with lady Theresa that woman has no joy in her .

   I continued focus on my job ,I decided  to go to the kitchen to speak to bethel when I mistakenly bumped into something hard .

  I look up to see what it was ,but I got the greatest shock of my life to see sir Benjamin standing in front of me .

  " Boom!!! surprise so you think I wouldn't find you right "

   My mind was racing fast .

  " Who the heck is this Guy why is he everywhere "

    I was still lost in thought when his deep voice bought me out of my imagination .

  " What are thinking about "

  " Nothing ,why are you following me "

  " I wasn't following you girl you bumped into me and you have to apologize for that "

  " Yes I know I bumped into you but if you weren't following me it wouldn't have happened "

  " Say sorry "

  " Sir Benjamin I don't like people bossing me around so I wouldn't "

  " Am sure you wouldn't like the outcome "

  " Outcome of what if I may ask , Am not your slave , So please ,I was going to the kitchen to see my sister "

  " Yes do you have a problem with that "

  " No I don't but I wouldn't let you go until you apologize"

  " I refused to subjected to your command please excuse me "

   I was about to leave when he held my hand tight .

  ' Ahh it hurts let go of my hand you bastard "

  " Bastard !! that's a wrong word to use on a stranger "

  " If you don't want me to use that name on you than you stop following me "

  " I wasn't following you okay I was just going to check .. check.on my friend Samuel I have been looking for him have you seen him anywhere in the palace "

  " The last time I checked I was not his keeper and besides am only doing my job "

 " I know I always do so please sir Benjamin excuse me I have to go now '

  He was still holding my hand ,and I couldn't move an inch ,I kept staring at him just then he spoke up .

  " Why aren't you leaving "

  " How can I leave when you are holding my hand '

  " Oh that's truth sorry my bad "

  ' Better do have a nice day sir Benjamin and I hope we don't cross each orders path again "

  "My dear we will and when we cross path again you will be sitting at my right hand side ,as my wife and my queen "

  He was standing so close to me that I could feel his breath very close to my face ,I used the remaining strength I had in me to push him back .

  " Stay away from me , You see this beautiful dream of yours you really have to wake up from it, it's just a mere imagination okay I belong to someone else and no one ,I mean no one  can change it so the earlier it gets into your brain the better for you ,stay away from. me or .."

  " Or what me ,or kick my balls ,hmm let me guess again scream rape ,I would like to tell you something about this palace my dear no matter how you try to scream no one I mean no one will come to rescue you expect I give them a go ahead "

  " Hahaha you are funny ,just because you where given access to work around this palace freely don't mean you should attach too much important to yourself ,infact you think too highly of yourself and trust me it's not good for you so stop thinking too much of yourself Mr Benjamin even the king will have your friend sacked if he finds out about what you just said "

  " Really I think you know too much about the king don't you thing so damsel "

  ' I know nothing about that crazy  man ,I don't want to know anything about him "

  " Be careful with your words the wall have ears "

  " I don't care his a bastard just like you ,He thinks he can have anything and everything whenever he wants "

  " Oops I think someone has been hurt by the king "

  " Not me but the people has been hurt by the king you need to see the way people are being treated at the market square just because the king gave an order "

  " Yes some people go back home without getting money from the sales of there product all because of taxes and when they object they get the worst beating of their life "

  " Please Tell me more "

   Immediately he said those words I realised I have been talking way too much for my liking .

  " Never mind why would I tell you anything , besides it wouldn't change the fact that my father was killed by doesn't stupid guards of the king because he refused to give away the little sales he made to feed his family with "

  " Oh my God am so sorry, Now I see why you have so much hate for him in your heart "

  " I don't hate him anyways his our king and we will all have to bow our head to him "

  " So tell me what if you get an opportunity to meet with the king what will you say to him "

  " I will tell him how he has failed us as a king and as a leader ,but there is no point flogging a dead horse and besides why am I telling you all this things just stay away from me the next time you see me pretend you have never met me before and lastly am in love with someone else so you see that thought you have in that little head of yours delete it I hope am clear "

  I quickly walked out on him because I was a little bit scared someone might have heard us and report it to the king ,I really don't know why I have a big mouth ,I tried to bit my lip but it hurts so I let go but deep down my heart I felt like crying .
