The photo from the paparazzi spread quickly. Luckily most of it did not show Alex's face. People didn't mind that I had a relationship, they minded that I was with a man. We're currently in the theatre room, watching a horror movie because Alex insisted on it. Despite wanting to watch a horror movie, he's currently under our shared blanket with his head buried in my chest and his arms around my waist. On the way home, Alex spotted an ice cream shop. Alex insisted on stopping by, but I was anxious about people. The news about Alex being an escort just came out and everybody's eyes are on us. People are waiting for our next move like hawks eyeing their prey. As much as I tried to convince Alex that we could just buy and leave, he wouldn't budge. He wanted to stay in the shop and eat inside. There weren't many people at the beach earlier so I wasn't worried about that, but the ice cream shop was packed with individuals of different ages. We haven't even reached home yet and the pictures that were taken earlier were rapidly spread online. My phone has been blowing up from my secretary's multiple attempts at calling me. I would answer if Alex didn't grab my phone and put it in his pocket. He finally had enough of the constant ringing and took my phone out of his pocket. I thought he would hand them back to me, but instead, he turned them off before putting them back in his pocket.I wanted to grab my phone from him, but he was driving so I was left with no choice, but to sit and wallow in my thoughts. I stared out of the window the rest of the way home in an attempt to clear my head, but thousands of thoughts and worries keep popping up in my head. We've barely recovered from when the first picture came out and now there's another one for people to feast on.Alex tried to keep talking about his childhood in an attempt to keep my head off of the pictures, but it wasn't working.
