The drive back to their Pack was filled with silence. Claire breathed a deep sigh of relief as soon as they slid through the large gates. She was still shaken up from the encounter at the mall.

As soon as the car pulled to a stop, she opened the door and quickly ran into the house. She didn't stop until she was in the safety of her bedroom. Her heart pounded heavily in her chest as images of what happened at the mall continued replaying in her head. Who was that man? How was he able to get into the changing room without her notice? Unless he had been there before I entered?

So many questions, but there was no one to answer. Her head felt heavy as she ran into her room and straight into the bathroom. She splashed cold water on her face, trying to catch her breath.

She stared at her reflection in the mirror and who she saw was the once frightful girl she had been. The terrified girl she had been before she met her mates. Her eyes were wide open, and her face was pale.
