Chapter Three:You Will Come Back Begging Skyler!

Halting her   car in front of her dad's company which was soon going to be hers,Natasha could see her secretary  Nancy with some few guards standing at the entrance of the company.

"Ma'am"Nancy walked up to her boss Natasha who had been stripped of her title without her presence.

"What is it Nancy?"Natasha asked not quite understanding the reason why she was outside instead of being in her duty post."Why are you with my files?"She demanded but Nancy was not opening up to her.

"The chairlady…"Nancy tried explaining but  she knew her boss and her temper,she was not going to take it lightly on her step mom and sister when she finds out what happened.

Natasha pushed her aside, not in the mood to listen to her,she needed to see her Step mom,but as she made to enter inside,A security man stood in front of her blocking her entrance.

"What are you doing?"Natasha glared at the security man,what was his name again?

"I'm sorry ma'am but we had received orders from the new boss not to let you in "The young man said but not without trembling in fear,Natasha had been a good boss to them but he had to do this to survive.

He knew going against the chairwoman would bring consequences so he chose to remain adamant in his decision to not let her in.

"Boss,we need to leave right now"Nancy went to her drawing her  hand but she jerked her hands off her ,and made to enter then the security man blocked her way,she gave him a punch to his face startling everyone who was still shocked at what just happened.

Just at that moment,a group of reporters filled the company's entrance,as the security men diverted their attention to them trying to stop them from entering the company,which gave way for Natasha to enter inside.

She felt  the stares and whispers of the employees,some were looking at her with hate while a few had pitiful looks on their face.

Surprisingly,as the elevator to her  office opened she found the entrance to be free from  security men who had always been there,then she knew the stunt outside was all planned by her stepmom.

Skyler white was such a sly fox,she had deliberately made the security delay her entry into the company so that the press could see her struggling to get inside her dad's company.

Natasha held her head high,walking with confidence towards her office,deciding not to act weak infront of Skyler and that was when she heard  the roars of laughter which was coming from inside,the minute she stepped in,the laughter died and everyone's attention was shifted towards her.

From her peripheral view,Natasha could see her stepmom sitting in her chair,with eyes which held mockery for her. She collected the name plate which had Natasha's name on it and threw it on the ground,smashing it to pieces.

 

"Oh! my bad"Skyler white feigned innocence as the roars of laughter started but seized again  when she raised her hand up, leaving pin drop silence in the room.

"I was  expecting your arrival but it seems you were occupied about last night,"Skyler said, making Natasha's eyes widen at the true meaning of the words she just said,it now occurred to her that she was behind what happened last night.

"Skyler!!''Natasha yelled in a really hurt tone,the walls she built around herself crushing suddenly,how could someone be so wicked and cunning to her step daughter.

She could remember the way she had been treating her when her dad was alive,pretending in front of her dad just to her trust,but after a few months of his death,her true colour was unveiled.

"No sweetheart,it's ceo to you"Skyler corrected laughing hysterically to see her step daughter in her broken form.

"How dare you manipulate company funds!''one of the board members,Cain, stood up standing in front of her, raising papers at her,throwing it to her face as Natasha stood motionless trying to figure out how to clear this mess.

"How are you going to pay us!"Becca added, walking up to her to pour her glass of water in her face.

"I had my hopes high about you,but it turns out you are a thief!"Raymond did not consider the fact that her dad and him were close friends,he accused her of eating company money.

"I need my money Natasha White!"Linda who had never liked her for once added going to slap her but halted when she heard Skyler's voice.

"Enough everyone ,the young lady is shocked"Skyler commanded as everyone went to their seats,assuming their normal positions.

Natasha didn't leave a comment,the actions of the boards of directors still etched visibly on her mind,her father's closest friend Raymond had her back turned to her ,she smiled, making everyone surprised.

They were expecting her to kneel and beg,but the reverse was the case,she walked up to her step mother who had her arms folded with an evil smirk on her face.

"You can end all these Natasha,you have the power to stop this,all you have to do is kneel and beg"Skyler told her but the look her step daughter had on her face ,she knew that was going to be impossible.

Natasha had always being one strong lady that was hard to crack while growing up,she hardly shows her emotions which made her one step above her,always keeping a straight face that says she doesn't give a fuck.

She could still remember the way she  behaved at her Tenth birthday celebration,trying to act as the loving mother she was,she hosted a birthday party for the young lady.

Skyler presented her gift to her with smiling faces,Kassidy was just five years of age then,Natasha took the gift not thanking her,she walked up to her cake placing the wrapped gift on top of the candle as it burned.

 

She could still remember how many times her dad tried convincing her that she's got a new mom,but it was as if  the girl could see through her wicked soul,she simply said looking straight into her dad's eyes.

"I don't like her,she's just pretending to be a good mom"

Waking up from her thought,she looked at Natasha who suddenly gave her a creepy smile that sent   cold shivers down her body,sometimes she assumed her step daughter as a psychopath.

"Kneel down you say"Natasha referred the statement back to her,giving a scoff at the audacity of Skyler.

"Maybe i could consider giving you a position at the company,maybe you can start as an employee,you know…"Skyler added as the directors laughed again at the way Syler humiliated her.

"You will come back begging Skyler,I promise "Natasha told her not in the mood to exchange silly words with her,taking a last look  at her office and at the directors,she noticed Raymond had his head bowed down,maybe he was regretting,but it's late  for such repentance.

Natasha walked out holding the tears back refusing to break down  in the territory of her enemies,the moment the elevator was opened,she was attacked with a questions by the reporters who blocked her view as if they had known she was going to come out anytime soon.

"Is it true you stole company funds?"

"Tell us,are the accusations against you true?"

"How do you feel after being stripped of your title"

Natasha could swear she felt dizzy and wanted to pass out,but she knew fainting inside the lobby would add up more sources to the story of the reporters,then she could make out some security men who came to her aid as she left for her car finding Nancy outside crying for her loss.

She nearly fell down as Nancy rushed to her aid, helping her to her car,as she ran to the driver's seat starting the car ,driving to her house, knowing that this was just the beginning,her boss was not one to back down from a fight that easily.

Natasha was a fighter,she would not relax until she had her stepmom and sister begging at her feet
