As she muttered, "Turn around and leave me alone, you asshole," with anger in her voice, she returned to her work with a heavy sigh of frustration. I couldn't resist chuckling as her intense reactions were something that I found thrilling. Based on my knowledge of her, I understood that she was only a few more incidents away from completely losing her temper.

I turned to a new page in my notebook and wrote a crude question: "What is the size of your breasts?" With a snicker, I folded the paper and tossed it in her direction while casually reaching behind me.

Angrily, she huffed and slammed her pencil down on the table to draw attention. Surprisingly, she decided to read the note, but as soon as she finished, she crumpled it up and threw it towards the back of my head.

I grinned with amusement and let her return to her assignment. Looking around the room again, I couldn't believe that she was still oblivious to what was happening, or rather, what wasn't happening.

Despite my attempts to bother her, she was so engrossed in her work that she didn't seem to be bothered enough to create a commotion about my behavior. She simply kept writing on her paper, occasionally glancing between it and her textbook, with a perturbed frown on her face.

As she attempted to turn the page of her book, she realized that it had become as hard as cement, causing her to mutter, "What the fuck?"

She stared at the book, attempting to force the page to turn, but to no avail. I knew that I had crossed a point of no return, so I continued to push forward.

When she noticed that something was amiss, I decided to distract her. With a smile on my face, I turned my chair around and put my feet up on her table, pulling her bitter attention away from the textbook as she glared at me.

"Hey," I said, "if the assignment is too difficult, maybe we could play a game." Her anger towards me had reached its peak at that point.

In an angry tone, she retorted, "What game? Is it called 'Stab you in the fucking face with my pencil?'"

She shouted to draw attention from the teacher and discourage me from bothering her any further, as this was her typical defense mechanism. However, this time, I refused to back down.

With an amused grin, I leaned back in my chair, closed my eyes, and folded my hands behind my head. "It's called 'Put up your feet and take a nice nap'," I replied with a content sigh. "I love this game."

With a raised voice, she called me "a fucking idiot," which I found amusing enough to stifle a laugh. "Why the hell is no one paying attention to this shit?" she shouted.

Finally, she looked around the room and was completely shocked by what she saw. "What the hell?" she whispered in confusion. I observed her as she got up from her chair, and I became concerned as she attempted to shake her friend next to her, only to find that she was unresponsive.

"Julie?" she said with growing worry, panting fearfully. I stood up and offered a reassuring smile as she looked towards the teacher.

As I attempted to talk to her, "Hey, you know I–," she cut me off when she suddenly ran from her chair, pushing me aside, and rushed to the teacher.

"Teacher?" she asked in a panic, waving her hand in front of his face as he gazed over the class. "Hello?" Her fearful panting had increased, and she turned to the students in the front row, realizing how motionless they were, except for me and her.

"What the hell is going on here?" she shouted in a panic, just before I approached her from the side with a reassuring grin. She was so focused on everyone else that when she turned to me, she gasped in fright.

"Hey, calm down," I said. "There's no need to freak out."

"Are you an idiot?" she shouted at me before rushing to the door. "That's a stupid question, of course, you are." I chuckled and grinned back at her.

"Can't you see that something fucked up is happening here?" She tugged on the doorknob, grunting with effort, but it was as immovable as everything and everyone else.

I leaned against the table closest to the door, crossing my arms and maintaining a calm smile while observing her turning back to face me. Her hand trembled as she ran it through her hair, and her eyes widened in fear as she scanned the room.

"I can't believe this is happening," she gasped. "I can't be trapped in a horror movie. It must be a dream or something." She brightened suddenly.

"Yes, it's just a dream!" She squeezed her eyes shut. "Okay... I'm going to wake up now and find myself in my bed where everything is normal and nobody is frozen."

I found her reaction both amusing and puzzling. Initially, I hadn't anticipated such a fearful response from her, which was likely a significant misjudgment on my part. I assumed that once she realized I was the only other moving person in the room, she would instantly blame me for the strange situation.

Witnessing her in such a state of terror was a new experience for me, but I felt confident that I could resolve it. Although I had the ability to restore everything to its usual state at any moment, I wasn't ready to abandon my idea just yet. I wanted to see it through a bit longer.

Her breathing slowed as she observed my calm and collected demeanor. I responded with a playful smile and wave, but she remained suspicious and narrowed her eyes at me.

As she stared at me intently, she suddenly asked, "Why are you so calm?" I responded with a smirk and nonchalantly glanced at my fingernails, making it clear to her that I was responsible for the situation. "Did you...did you cause this?" she asked with a mix of curiosity and suspicion.

Maintaining my focus on my fingertips, I gave a casual response to her inquiry. "Yeah, I did it. No big deal. It's kind of cool, don't you think?"

With an excited grin and a raised eyebrow, I met her gaze. Despite Jennifer still being in shock, my composed manner seemed to be aiding in soothing her. However, internally, I was feeling incredibly anxious. I was surprised to discover a newfound sense of self-assurance that I had never experienced before.

"How?" she asked, still trying to make sense of it all.

"I don't know," I replied nonchalantly. "I just... did it."

Her confusion turned into frustration. "What do you mean you just did it?" I shrugged my shoulders, unable to explain. "How long have you been able to do this?"

"Since this morning," I said casually, which only added to her disbelief.

"I don't even know what to say," she muttered, looking around the room. "You froze everyone except me," she realized. "So why did you do it?"

"Just look around," I said with a grin. "Everyone's frozen and we can do whatever we want without anyone noticing."

Her initial disbelief quickly turned into amusement as she caught on to my suggestion. She folded her arms across her chest and shook her head. "You're kidding, right?" she deadpanned. "You want to have sex with me?"
