18. Liam Is Sick

Liam staggered to the elevator and pressed the key to the penthouse. He didn't want to risk being seen by anyone, especially not in this state.

The door opened and he walked into it, he pressed it close and watched Noah running over. Liam stopped the elevator with his foot and called to him“ Go home, Noah. I don't need you here to babysit me”

Noah looked at the boss, a feeling of sadness enveloping him. He hated to see the boss like this. He didn't know what to say, which was why he nodded and turned back towards the parking lot where his car was parked. He got into it and drove off, hoping the boss would be okay. Maybe being alone will finally help him to sort out his problems.

Liam sighs as he lets go of the elevator door and rests his head on the wall, letting his bag drop to the floor with a loud thud.

He held his head as he thought back to that night. He would give anything to change everything. To make everything right. If only he didn't make that phone call.

“What do you mean
