Chapter 12

I could hear the voices surrounding me but I couldn’t open my eyes it was like they were glued shut.

“Aphrodite, I told you to take the damn guards for a reason. Why the hell were you out without them.”

“Well I wanted her to feel like it was a normal girl time not like her life was constantly in fucking danger Dimitri.”

“He is fucking after her and you thought that it was a good damn idea to go out without guards.”

I started to try and force my eyes open but still was having trouble, I tried talking but it was like something was forcing me not to speak. I moved my fingers on my hand and apparently that worked because I heard Dimitri, “Go get the doctor she is moving her fingers.”

“Dimitri that doesn’t mean she is awake!”

“Vic if you can hear me, please move your finger again!” So, I moved my finger again to make sure they knew that I was awake.

“GO GET THE DAMN DOCTOR NOW!” Aphrodite must have listened because I didn’t hear her voice just the door closing behind her.
