12: Black Council 2

Emy was silently castigating herself. Sa dinami rami ng pagkakataon na maaari siyang magkapanic attack, kung kelan pa naroroon ang Fifth Prince. As much as possible, she didn't want to get involved with any royal family in this lifetime.

After all, she was planning against one of the Princes that's why she needed to be more careful.

She looked at the back of the guy in front of her. She knew quite a lot about these princes. It was one of the advantages kapag naging malapit ka sa kahit na kanino na nasa Royal Palace. But truth be told, she was not just a simple acquaintance of Marco. They were almost lovers. Almost because as much as she liked Marco, her father, the Prime Minister, was totally against it.

Her father knew how suffocating the game of the imperial harem and he didn't want them to be part of that. Only to get disappointed in the end since both of his daughters died because one of them was already caught up in that game.

Anyway, she knew that the Fifth Prince was the most vocal amongst the Princes in wanting to be the heir of the crown. Unlike the others, he never hid his interest to be the next emperor. Isa na ngang patunay jan ay ang pagtakbo nito bilang Presidente ng Supreme Student Group.

No one from the other Princes would brave doing that except him. Bukod kasi sa masyadong matrabaho ang pagiging Presidente ng Supreme Student Group, nanjan pa ang Black Council na dumadagdag pa sa trabaho nila.

Gaya na lang ngayon...

"Kung sinuswerte ka nga naman." A masked person said in front of the Fifth Prince.

Hindi lang ito nag-iisa. There were eight of them na nakamaskara and they started to surround them.

"Your highness, is this the reason why you want me to follow you?" Emy asked silently to the Fifth Prince.

He looked at her irritatingly. "Believe me or not, these idiots are not my people. Only foolish people will have bravery behind masks."

Napataas ang kilay niya dahil doon. The Fifth Prince didn't even bother lowering his voice. He intended to provoke the Black Council members.

"Is that so, your Highness? Then how about showing me an example of that bravery of yours?" Sabi nung nasa harapan niya saka umatake. Two more people joined him and that kept the Prince busy.

Grace and Anika surrounded Emy. Of course, they knew about the Black Council too. And they wouldn't just let them harm their Miss. The two of them committed in fighting too. They protected Emy as much as they can.

The Black Council was not really simple. They didn't hold back in their attacks. Grace and Anika had a hard time. Dumagdag pa that they were defending Emy against the attack of four people.

The Fifth Prince was doing his best to defend himself at the same time, protecting Emy too. Of course, he wouldn't let anyone hurt her. He was the one who asked her to follow him. She was his liability as of now.

Alessandra, on the other hand, had no intention in joining their attacks against the Fifth Prince. It was too risky. Masyadong mayabang lang itong si Bran eh.

She watched the fight until she realized na nadedehado sila nung tatlo kahit na marami sila. Bukod pa doon, it pissed her off when she noticed that lady was being protected by the Fifth Prince. She was reminded of her that lady she hated the most, Samantha.

She decided to sneak an attack towards her. She waited na parehas occupied yung tatlo when she rushed towards that lady.

But her hand was immediately stopped by that lady. She was about to retaliate when she met her eyes.

Hindi rin niya alam kung bakit pero she was suddenly petrified by the lady's gaze. It was like she could see through her up to the deepest part of her soul.

Doon lang naman napansin ni Sebastian na may nakalapit na pala kay Emy. He was about to attack that person nang kusa itong lumayo kay Emy.

"Retreat."

That person seemed to have a big role in Black Council. When she said that, agad na nagsipagtigil sa pag-atake ang mga kasamahan niya. Then they started to back away.

"Until next time, Your Highness." Sabi nung unang sumugod sa kanila kanina bago sabay silang umalis nung babae. But even that lady gave Emy a last look before backing away too.

They just watched them go hanggang sa tuluyan na silang nawala sa paningin nila.

"Miss, are you hurt?" Tanong ni Grace kay Emy.

Umiling lang ito. "How about you two? Are you both okay? May nasugatan ba sa inyo?"

"Don't worry about us, Miss. We are okay."

"That's good to hear."

Si Sebastian naman ang sunod niyang tiningnan. She was about to ask him if he was fine when she noticed the way he was looking at her.

"You..."

"What, Your Highness?"

She was saved by Sebastian's subordinates. Nagsipagdatingan ang mga ito at saka nilapitan siya. When he looked at Emy again, nakalayo na ito sa kanya kasunod ang mga maidservants niya.

Pag-uwi ni Emy ay ang nag-aalalang si Feng ang sumalubong sa kanya. Nakarating kasi agad dito ang nangyaring pagatake ng mga Black Council members sa Grey Academy. Papunta na nga sana ito doon upang sunduin siya. Mabuti na lang at nagpang-abot pa sila.

Hanggang maghapunan ay usapan nilang apat ang nangyari sa Grey Academy. Syempre ay nakaabot din kanila Francis at Franco ang balita kahit pa nasa trabaho silang dalawa.

"Wala talagang magawang maganda ang mga nasa Black Council na iyan." Napapailing na sabi ni Francis.

"That's true, Papa. Mabuti na nga lang at hindi napaano itong si Emy. Kung nagkataon, hahuntingin ko ang mga miyembro ng Black Council na yan."

"How can you possibly do that kung ang mga opisyal nga at mismong ang mga board members ng Grey Academy ay hindi sila matagpuan." Sabi naman ni Feng sa anak.

"Pero sigurado ka bang hindi ka nasaktan, Emy?" Tanong ulit sa kanya ni Francis. Maging siya naman ay hindi matatahimik kung sakaling may nangyaring masama sa pamangkin niya.

"Opo."

"Iniligtas po si Miss ni Fifth Prince kaya po siguradong okay lang siya." Grace said, excitedly. Dadagdagan pa sana nito ang kwento niya when she saw Emy looking at her. Agad itong yumuko at bumalik sa likuran ni Emy.

"Fifth Prince?" Tanong ni Franco.

"Do you mean Prince Sebastian?" Dagdag tanong naman ni Francis.

Napahinga na lang ng malalim si Emy bago hinarap ang pinsan at Uncle niya.

"It's not like he defended me intentionally. Nagkataon lang po na malapit siya sa lugar kung nasaan kami kanina. Utang ko po kanila Grace at Anika kung bakit hindi po ako nasaktan kanina."

Napatango ng sabay yung dalawa.

"That means, it was a wise decision when Feng asked them to be trained with the army." Sabi ni Francis. Then he looked at Grace and Anika. "Good job, you two. I'll make sure to increase your salary. In turn, you have to commit more in training in order to protect Emy."

"Makakaasa po kayo." Sabay na sabi ng dalawa.

Emy sighed in relief since that already ended the talk about the Black Council.

However, a crazy idea popped up in her head. It might be too dangerous but she was the only one who could do it.
