“Koa…” Odin tried to roll his first-born cub’s name in his tongue, too.
After knowing Raini was conceiving their little one, they had been preparing for the name of their offspring. Odin gave Raini the honor to choose whatever name she thinks would be best for the cub. Although living in captivity, Raini still had her princess status, so Odin trusted her with that. After a lot of thought, they both agreed to call him Koa which means brave warrior as he was born in the middle of his parents’ demise. Just like his parents, they were a family of warriors fighting for their survival.
While cooing the cub, Raini softly gasped when she saw the print gradually appearing on his chest.
“Odin, look.”
The alpha also proudly watched the royal mark show on his son’s skin. However, their excitement over his mark slowly turned to worry when they only saw a half symbol. Raini looked up at Odin with her worried expressions.
After the battle between Crescent Luna and Moon Stone when he was still a baby, Tyr had only heard tales about it growing up. Wolves of their pack saying it was an uprising for territorial claims and some said it was to take over dominance in Moon Valley. The battle costs so many lives from both packs especially from Moon Stone who was caught off guard by the ambush. Tyr even thought the packs called a truce after that battle and had been coexisting ever since because Moon Stone chose to forgive the other pack for what happened. After what he saw from Zane’s necklace, it clearly wasn’t the case.Wanting to get everything out of his chest, Tyr immediately sought for the truth from his parents. Despite the expected anger from them crossing the borders, Tyr still told everything to his parents if he wanted to get the truth from them. It was already too much for Zane to know his parents died from what happened in the past, but Tyr wasn’t ready to know who was be
Esme and Seth gasped at the sight of their only son. They were just putting out the dishes from their simple dinner when their front door clicked open and revealed Zane.“Zane!” / “Oh, son.”The coupled almost called out at the same time. Esme carefully set aside the plates and gave her son a warm welcome hug. Zane snuggled between the space of his mom’s shoulder and neck, inhaling her familiar omega scent he missed a lot.Seth also joined the hug for a second before petting his son’s head.“We have missed you here.” Esme said while breaking the hug, caressing her son’s cheeks.Zane forced a smile, but he was still feeling glad he came home. “I’ve missed you both, too.”“Have you eaten?” Seth inquired. The younger omega glanced at him. “Is there any food left? I forgot to call home.”“Of course! Come here.” Esme happily e
King Alpha Frey and Odin of Moon Stone.Decades of great governance, Alpha Frey had established a great reputation not just in Moon Stone pack but also throughout Moon Valley. His name exuded greatness and respect to the pack wolves even before he became the pack alpha of Moon Stone. His prominent name even brought hope and power in the pack when he finally took over the throne. That’s why despite him bearing a son with only a half mark, a first in their pack, there wasn’t much judgment and condemnation against him or his son. Although there were other wolves who questioned Tyr’s ability to surpass or even come at par with his father’s character and leadership, the trust of the majority of the pack was still prevalent.Alpha Frey had always regarded his best friend, pack brother, and his most loyal subject as one of the main reasons why he was the pack alpha. Odin of Moon Stone grew up alongside him since they were children, turned
“I haven’t seen Zeev around. Did he not enroll this term?”Zane started the conversation. They agreed to talk on the rooftop where no students around to hear them. Zane didn’t have to tell Keira about it because his best friend automatically told him Theo will be taking him home so he could talk to Tyr. He wasn’t feeling happy about how Keira changed towards him, but he had no right to complain either. So, he just brought Tyr up on the rooftop for their pending talk.“I haven’t seen him for the past days either. Everyone’s looking for him, too.”Zane’s brows twitched; a glint of worry flashed in his eyes. “What? Why? What happened?”Tyr shrugged his shoulder and shook his head. “The last time I saw him was the night you left Moon Stone. He didn’t mention anything to me about him disappearing or what. He hasn’t answered any of my messages and calls. I wonder if you&rs
Ringing sound in Zane’s ears woke him up and it was still pitch black. He instantly squared up, feeling something binding around his waist that suspended his arm behind him. He could smell the awful smell of wormwood. He was guessing it might the plant around him which made him feel a bit weak.“Keira!”He wasted no time to call for his best friend. He got no response at first, but he was still relieved to sense his best friend not too far from him with her potent pheromones. They must have knocked her out, too.Zane tried to crawl on the floor when he felt another rope binding his feet, following Keira’s scent so he could keep her close to him in case anything happened. While he was struggling his way to Keira’s scent, he sensed at least three wolves approaching and that’s when someone removed the bag covering his head. Zane squinted his eyes, trying to adjust his sight from the faint light illuminating the unfamiliar and aba
As if woken from his own trance, Tyr’s eyes jolted upon hearing Zane’s voice. His claws almost tore the rogue’s chest once again, but he just quickly knocked him out and let him drop unconscious to the ground. His head snapped to Zane and wasted no second to go to him. Tyr instantly hugged Zane, he could feel his chest drop at the bloody sight of his mate crouching on the floor.“I’m sorry. I should have gone faster.” his voice trembled from the mixture of fear and rage.“I-It’s okay.” Zane grunted the pain. When he broke the hug, he turned to his side and saw Keira looking so horrified and shocked about what just happened.“K-Keira…” when he was about to reach out for her, she shrunk on her shoulders and started shaking again.“They’re gone now. It’s okay.” Tyr assured her and was about to approach her, but she faintly yelped, afraid of hi
Zeev of Moon Stone. Born with a royal mark, son of Morrigan’s late sister, Zeev grew up only in the care of his older brother, Garren of Moon Stone. He was very close to Garren, treating him both as his mother and father. His brother took really good care of him, giving him every form of love and attention he wanted even though he was also a royal subject to Crown Princess Amaris. He was a bit spoiled at least by his brother, and he was happy to have him around. However, the bloody ambush of Crescent Luna against Moon Stone cost his brother’s life. The innocent four-year old Zeev witnessed how his brother died before his very eyes, and Amaris, who was also ripped by a royal wolf of another pack – both of them died protecting the three-month old Tyr. At such a young age, the loss of his brother and only family took a toll on little Zeev. The trauma negatively impacted his innocent mind, shutting everyone around him for years, and not even socializing wi
Feeling the subtle movement on the bed, Zane slightly opened his eyes, still feeling heavy on his body but he could already feel much better than before he slept. He initially thought it was already morning, but the dim light of the room told him otherwise. In his blurry vision, he noticed Tyr tucking himself under the sheet as carefully as he could. He faintly smiled and when he felt Tyr’s figure beside him, he immediately wrapped his arm around his mate which made the latter a bit startled. That’s when Zane felt his necklace around him that made him completely open his eyes.“Did I wake you up? I’m sorry.” Tyr almost said in whisper.Zane held his necklace and looked at Tyr with questioning eyes. “What happened?” he asked after noticing the puffy eyes on Tyr.The wolf prince forced a smile. “Nothing.”“I don’t remember wearing this.” Zane referred to his necklace to which Tyr carefu
