The accident

"Why won't the world just let Lucious Mendez and Sydney be? Pamela Hill, a nurse in the Panacea psychiatrist hospital says, dropping the daily news paper on the table, so that Lauren fonder could see it.

"You and this Lucious guy again? I think you are actually the one that would not let them be, you speak about him all the time".

She smiles, pulling the seat to sit opposite her.

"But it's hard to stop talking about him, when he is super cute". She confessed, then she added.

Even at that, they should still let him be, I don't know why they think something is going to go wrong between them?

"The world still look at Lucious, the multi billionaire as a womanizer, they don't want to accept that he has changed". Lauren says, going over a few more files, setting them in their rightful place.

"I too, sometimes feel it is hard for a known womanizer like Lucious Mendez to just repent, I feel something is wrong".

She places a finger on her lip as if thinking of what she feels is actually wrong.

"Pamela, Lucious is not my problem right now, I am applying this year again, I need to gather enough money, so that I can go to psychiatrist school at Houston and also, get my mother to have that surgery done, she is slowly dying and it hurts me that I can't do anything about it". She spoke in a sober tone, almost breaking down, and that was when Pamela remembered that her friend and colleague have a lot going on with her at the moment.

"I am sorry dear. Are you sure applying for the program when you don't have the money is the right thing to do? Why not try and save up the rest of the money, then deposit it for your mum's surgery, you still have enough time to go to school, you are still young".

"I just don't know what to do, each time I remember all I have to go through, I feel sad".

"And that is why I brought this Lucious Mendez discussion, so that you could ease off".

"Pamela, you are really funny. How will discussing about a billionaire help me ease off?

"Haven't you heard that if you must make money in this life, you need to read about wealthy people, and discuss about them, that way, you can start thinking about all the things they did to make money?

"Pamela, continue reading about them, when you make the money, let me know, so that you can support my life". She says, shaking her head, trying to go back to what she was doing earlier, when Pamela spoke again.

"This Sydney of a girl looks like you, in a different way, don't you think?

"I have heard that before, but I don't see the resemblance". She says, taking a look at the picture of the couple again. That was actually the first time she was looking intently at the both of them. She could see clearly why Pamela is taken by his looks, the man beside the woman looks very handsome, with his broad chest, blue eyes and long golden hair.

She is about to speak when they heard the chaos in the other section of the hospital.

A little child have been brought in.

They see that all the time. The Panacea Hospital is very big that all the section of emergency could be found there.

They look out the window and found the pediatricians in the other section, going from one place to the other, so as to attend to the emergency that have just been brought in, just then, the school in Houston sent a reply to Lauren's application.

They have rejected her again, since she doesn't have the full payment, she felt sad again, and tiredly went back to her seat.

Lucious couldn't keep his mind straight anymore, he was so happy, he kept looking at Sydney from the corner of his eyes, he allowed his imagination grow wild, that he could see his child in front of him.

"Its a girl". He says, and she smiles, for she knows that he wouldn't stop thinking about what she just told him.

"I don't think so, I think I am carrying a boy".

"Definitely a girl, she is going to look as beautiful as you, maybe a little more beautiful, because she is going to have the color of my hair". He says teasingly, while Sydney slapped his shoulder.

"Are you saying my Brunette isn't cute?

"Well... I mean....". She slapped him again, this time he gasped in pain, while she laughed it off. That is usually how they tease each other on daily basis, but on this day, Lucious is elated that he just couldn't hold himself, he just wants to get to the beach and hold her, if they haven't already planned their trip to the beach, he would have taken her somewhere else.

"Why are you not saying anything? She asked him, touching his ears.

"I don't want to speak to you, since you slapped me so hard, I will only speak to you, after you pacify me". She knows he is just kidding, but she also wants to play along, so she asked.

"How do you want me to pacify you? She asked.

"You know what I like, so do all you can to pacify me". He says, and she kissed his cheek, but he still didn't smile, then she ran her hands from his neck down to his torso, but he still didn't look any different, until her hands got to his waist line and stopped around the front zip, she stared at him and he still looked like he didn't care. She unzipped him and started to fondle with his third leg, this time, he let out a groan, which showed her that, she just got him, but he still feigned seriousness until she placed her mouth on his already erected part. He forgot he was still driving, they both got carried away, while she sucks on him, he closed his eyes to savour all that he was feeling, but by the time he opened his eyes, he couldn't avoid the big log on the road, he opened his eyes wide in fear, he tried to press hard on the brakes, but it didn't respond. Sydney looked up in fear, everything happened so fast, as the car tumbledown to the valley, no one could hear their scream of fear, until the car finally came to a stop.

They didn't get to beach, and though their eyes were closed in an unconscious state, they could both hear the siren of the ambulance.
