Sixty Three

"Thank you, Anna," Isabella said, sniffing her nose to keep the tears from falling any longer. She rubbed her face with her hands to clear the remaining rescue of tears away.

"Are you sure you are okay now?" Anna asked her friend, looking at the woman with something closed to pity.

"Yeah. I have to go now since I left the babies with Rita. She has to leave soon and I don't want to delay her by not showing up on time."

"You'll be fine?" Anna asked, still not sure if she should let the woman leave.

Isabella got up from where she sat. "I'm sure, babes. I'm totally fine."

Anna got up also. "Let ne see you off then."

"Alright."

The two of them got out of the house together. They walked a little further away from the house since Anna's home was in a remote place where it was hard to get taxis in the area. After walking for about ten minutes, Anna was able to flag down a car for her.

"Thanks for today, girlfriend," Isabella said as she got into the taxi.
