Feeling that this matter was beyond his capacity to handle, the manager didn't dare to linger and hurried off to get things done.

Daniel Faulkner owned too much property, and transferring accounts would take some time. The manager suggested that the two could go out for a walk and come back in half an hour.

"Okay." Throwing out a cold word, Daniel Faulkner left the bank on his own, finding a restaurant to sit down in.
