Chapter 46: Who Wants To Go Swimming?

I woke up the next morning in high spirits, the joy that came with me finding out I had kids was out of this world, I had read them stories to bed last night and a sense of fulfillment washed over me. Who would have thought that performing my fatherly duties was something I’d enjoy so much?

A knock came in interrupting my thoughts and I beckoned on the person to come in as I already knew it was Leo. He stepped inside with a smile on his face and he looked surprised to see me so happy.

“I can’t remember the last time you were this happy Alpha.” He said which made me smile even harder. Truthfully I couldn’t remember the last time I was this happy. My marriage with Mia had been sweet at first but we had slowly turned into strangers despite the love that I had for her.

And then she cheated on me and even went ahead to get pregnant for a common guard after years of us trying to have a baby which made me almost sink into depression thinking I was cursed by the moon goddess.
