I had received a letter from Kylian asking us to meet after the blood full moon, as he had something very important to tell me. But I wasn’t a fool; for all I knew, this could be a ploy by him and his father to harm me or something, because the Alpha of Alpha’s contest was just a few months away.

They were shameless people who could do anything to eliminate worthy contestants from the game. I was still going to get him though; I just needed to confirm if what Leo found out from his little investigation was true before we proceeded.

I entered my father's room as he had called me earlier, saying that he wanted to have a little chat with me.

"Father, you sent for me,” I said, announcing my presence in his room.

"Yes, son, I did; please sit.” He replied, gesturing for me to sit on the couch.

“How have you been? Sorry, I have been a little distant. A lot is going on in the pack, which I have to give my attention to and deal with as Alpha.” I said.

“It’s no problem, son. I understand.
