He arrived home really late and was just in the process of walking towards Emily's room when he noticed that he couldn't unlock the door. A frown formed on his brow. He reached into his pocket, pulled out a pin, and used it to open the door to her chamber using it as a key.

He discovered his homeless friend sleeping soundly on the bed while comforting herself with a cushion near her. He took his time as he made his way towards the bed, the only light in the room coming from the moon. He moved stealthily while biting his lower lip and forcing a smile to remain hidden on his lips.

He gets down on his knees and watches Emily breathe in and out very slowly.
