Chapter Fifteen - A Breakthrough

Amy’s POV

I was convinced my life was becoming a waking nightmare. If I didn’t act soon, I would turn into vulnerable Amy and that would help nobody, least of all myself. Being pawed by the pack warriors was one thing but that old lecher. At least I had on a decent dress for my serving role.

Defiance netted me nothing other than the threat of disciplinary action. Did Kane mean it when he said I would be half-naked and that he would film it? I couldn’t always tell when he was joking. These days there was usually that certain gleam in his eye.

The journey upstairs with the Beta – my mate – was horrible. My claustrophobia returned full force in the elevator and I sobbed, clinging to the bar like it was a life raft.
