Ela’s pov

I have told my mother everything and she has been very vocal about the whole thing. She was angry at Easton, but she said that him being here was a good sign of progress.

Easton has been sending me plants and even a letter last night, it really explained some things. Easton had a real different upbringing them I had apparently, getting handed everything. It had made him spoiled and when he did had to work hard, he focused all his attention on that. Leaving no space for me.

Talia said I had to wait at least a week before I replied to him.

“Ela, you waited four months for this man. He needs to sweat a bit.” Talia said.

She was probably right, but I had already waited so long for him and now that he was here, I would rather try to work things out than play games. I wanted to talk to him or shout at him. Ignoring Easton felt wrong, especially after I said to Milo that I would be there for him.
