Chapter 51

Lily’s pov

It was a lot colder for me now that I couldn’t reach the fire, especially at night. Arden would rather sleep in wolf form, he was used to this. So he slept outside of the cabin. That was at least one piece of comfort, that I could sleep knowing he wouldn’t bother me.

I still woke up every night a few times, missing Osiris and Arya, shivering because of the cold or out of pain, because my leg hurt badly.

During the day Arden would hunt for food. Which seem to becoming more difficult, because he came back without food and with a terrible mood each day. I was starving, surviving on berries and water. I was pretty sure it must be the water where he put the wolfsbane in, there wasn’t much else I was eating or drinking at that point. The water tasted off, it was bitter and it gave me stomach pain.

I had been here over a week now and I was getting desperate, so I decided to drink less water than I needed to. I knew you c
