Although Isabella didn't react or say anything, her bewilderment must have clearly shown on her face because the lady’s smile suddenly dropped and she peered at Isabela with dark eyes and tilted head.

“I see you do not believe me.” She whispered, and Isabella only responded with a shrug, “well, that is very understandable dear. I know how uh…bizarre the whole thing sounds but believe me when I tell you this Isabella, you have a very great destiny awaiting you - and we can help you get there.”

She didn't dare say a word.

Of course, a laugh would have been the best initial reaction - but these people have put effort into abducting her, bringing her to this forsaken tower.

This lady, no matter how silly her words sounded, Isabella could sense some sort of darkness looming around her, a darkness that had her spine chilling and she knew, just by looking at her face that they were dead serious and they totally believed what they were telling her. Whether it was true or not.
