Ahhh.. Today is the day for me to begin training with the pack. But for now, I need to calm my nerves and focus on my school day. I still need to keep my grades up and try to focus on getting a scholarship since it’s just me and grandma right now, and I know we can’t afford college. It might seem a little too early to worry about that, I just think planning ahead will better my chances. I’ll be 18 soon and this school year is halfway over already and with everything going on I’m ready for it to be.
It’s going to be a little harder now I’m sure as I’ll have to be throwing some hours in watching the surveillance cameras posted around the pack territory with Jade. Once we turn 18 and we’re able to shift, we’ll be running the perimeter with the older wolves. Turns out, grandmas house is on the outskirts of the pack territory so we’re on Alpha Wyatts land. I’ve never been in the actual town near the pack house but I’m excited to see what all is there.
I’m thinking about getting an actual paying job if anyone is hiring there in town. I need to be saving what ever kind of money that I possibly can. Next period is lunch and free time so I’m going to talk with Jade about some more pack stuff. I can never stop learning about things until I’m comfortable with the knowledge I have about it. I’m excited and nervous all at the same time.
I was sitting at mine and Jades usual meet up spot, under a beautiful pink colored dogwood tree on a bench. A while after sitting, here came Jade with her lunch and sat beside me. I figured I’d eat and start asking my questions.
“Jade who all will be at training later today?” I asked quietly.
“Anyone who is at fighting age or ability. We use training to help keep our strength up, not just to learn how to fight Remi” Jade said.
“I figured… Will Alpha Wyatt be there to you know, watch and train also?” I say while trying to act less suspicious of my crush for him.
“Remi, he’s usually there but sometimes he’s gone taking care of pack stuff. He is in charge and is the Alpha. He has a lot of responsibility. I personally like when he’’s gone.”
“Why?” I asked.
“He’s not the most welcoming person. A lot of people are afraid of him. He’s a brute and isn’t known to go easy on people that upset him. It’s just more tense with him around.”
"He doesn’t seem all that bad" Mia interrupted in my mind.
Well maybe he was trying to be nice knowing everything just got put on my shoulders. Being a wolf, my parents are alive, a vampire is involved and my grandma an best friend both have been lying to me.
“Okay I get it” Mia said disappointed.
Maybe I was defending Alpha Wyatt because I liked him or I was just trying to make up excuses to not think about if he likes me or not. I don’t want to think about him being some mean and cruel person or wolf.
“So Jade, are the werewolves in our pack all mean?” I continue asking questions.
“No Remi, they all seem like normal people and I’m sure you’ll fit right on in.” Jade chuckled knowing that I’m failing miserably trying to not worry about fitting in.
“Don’t worry Remi. I know you’re nervous about everything but I’ll be right there with you and maybe we can be teamed up during training.”
“Sounds good.” I smirked.
“By the way Remi, I know you like Alpha Wyatt!” she laughed and ran off.
“I DO NOT!” I yelled and smiled at the fact that of course my best friend would be able to tell.
I don’t think that my cheeks have ever felt so hot and looked red before from embarrassment.
After school, Jade drove us to grandmas to eat dinner before we go to training. Grandma told me that I’m gonna need the energy. Once we ate, grandma gave me a kiss on the cheek and told me, “kick some ass Remi, show them you’ve always been a wolf!”
Mia growled lowly rumbling my chest as I smiled realizing my wolf came to surface.
“That’s the attitude” grandma smiled.
Me and Jade headed out and Jade blasted music in the car to help keep my mind off of me feeling like the new kid at the school. It worked and I’m happy that it did. We listened to our favorite songs and sang our hearts out. I’m so glad that I have Jade. She’s been so helpful and kind, listens to my worries and doubts as a best friend should. We have so much fun together and her being a wolf too helps make all of this easier for me.
We make it to the packs training center and everyone is staring at the new girl. Jade brings me to an empty mat and we start stretching. As I’m bending over to stretch I hear someone cough behind me. I look over to Jade and she’s staring with her eyes big at whoever is behind me. I jump up startled and look behind me and see Alpha Wyatt staring daggers at me. Even with that brooding look on his face he’s still very sexy, but I’m not telling him that. I’m sure he has plenty of girls all over him all the time.
“Taking the fun out of everything” Mia chuckled in disappointment.
“Whatever Mia” I sighed.
“Alright, you and Jade can partner up and start training. I expect you both to not take it easy on one another since you’re friends” Alpha Wyatt was not playing around.
“Ready? Let’s go” Jade smiled.
“Okay so this wolf strength is no joke.
“Are you ready to really test your strength?” Mia chuckled.
“Umm yeah, I really don’t want to get my ass kicked in front of Alpha Wyatt.”
“You know how to fight Remi, but I’ll help you with the strength part to make this a fair fight. We might be stronger though, so it’s not all that fair.” Mia laughed.
“I don’t know why’d we be stronger, but okay.” I sighed hoping that I can really match Jades strength.
I grabbed Jades arm and flipped her over me and put her on her back..
“DAMN! REMI!” Jade coughing trying to get the air back into her lungs.
“SORRY!” I helped her back on her feet.
Jade and I both put in punches and I swung my leg knocking her legs out and she hit the floor. She got up and I kicked her in the stomach hitting her to the floor once again.
“I’m tapping out!” Jade winded by all of the hits.”
“Good hits” Alpha Wyatt smirked.
I completely forgot about him being here with my adrenaline from mine and Jades fight.
“Thanks, I think.” Catching my breath.
“You’ll be on Jades schedule for security.” Alpha Wyatt walked away.
“That went well.” Mia sighed.
Alpha Wyatts P.o.V
I don’t know about this girl Remi. Ever since meeting her in the woods, I’ve not been able to stop thinking about her.
“I’d say” Cobalt laughed.
You’re lucky that you’re my wolf and not someone else.
“Yeah, yeah”
Remi is a beautiful girl. Her blonde hair and forest green eyes sends Cobalt into a frenzy. Those eyes are breathtaking. She has a nice figure, muscle I’m assuming she’s athletic or from her fight with Jade she’s trained in fighting. Even with the muscle tone she has a natural curvy body. I can’t help but notice her breasts and round bottom. I’m 22 and still I haven’t found my mate. Remi will be 18 soon and I wonder if my mate could be her.. There’s no way she just found out that she’s a werewolf better yet a destined Luna to my pack. She doesn’t even know the half of it. Why she’s so strong to begin with. I’m sure the truth will come out soon when Abagail and Johnathan talk to Remi. She is their daughter after all. I just hope Remi understands why they faked their deaths.
I’ll continue to keep an eye on Remi as I’m somewhat protective over her. That constant need to be around her or see her. She’s already been through quite a bit in her life. I have to resist the urge and keep some distance at least until I know more.
I run to the Packhouse, not knowing how late it is and if I stayed in there longer than I had thought. I make it to the front doors of the Packhouse and turn to the main house grandfather clock and to my surprise, I have just enough time to shower and get ready before I meet up with grandma and help her and my parents deliver the food to the boutique. I start undressing as I hit the bedroom door, paying no attention to my surroundings until I hear a whistle aiming directly at me. My face turns red as I look up and see Wyatt, leaning back in a chair, fixing his bulging pants. “You really got turned on from me tripping over clothes trying to make it to the bathroom?” I giggled. “You’re naked, of course, I’m turned on. Let me get a better look at my mate.” “Wyatt, I’m in a hurry and I’m sweaty and nasty—you do not want to know what I just did to whatever that thing wants to call itself.” I shivered at the thought of it. “That
Today’s the day, to surprise one of my best friends, my sister Jade, with her dream. I’m trying to keep the excitement under wraps as I receive a text from Mr. Thomas that the sign is up and covered for a reveal and that he had seen the place was fully decorated before he and his guys had left. I’m starving and it’s still really early in the morning, so I’ve decided to cook some breakfast for everyone, ham steaks and eggs and pancakes and breakfast potatoes, my favorite part. As I’m frying the ham steaks I feel the electricity in the air, the amazing smell taking over my senses, over-powering the ham right in front of me, my mate. I don’t turn around, smiling and waiting for him to come to me, I’m on cue in 3….2…1… His arms wrap around me tightly as his face rests on my right shoulder, “good morning little wolf,” his voice raspy still from waking up. “Good morning, Alpha,” I smirk, knowing today I have no time to enjoy the simple yet utterly satisfying extracurricular a
“What’s going on James?” I asked, getting irritated. “Your mate, he mind-linked me to take you elsewhere and once I get you to the destination you are to shift into your wolf form. Before you freak out, he has extra clothes for you with him and he said no questions.” “James, if I have to get into my wolf form to see him, tell him it won’t be kisses that he’s getting,” I huffed. “He said he’s looking forward to it, Luna,” James chuckled, nodding his head. “James, when he comes home blood-soaked, don’t you worry, if he made it home, he’s still alive.” I knew I had a look on my face to be reckoned with when he didn’t say
Alpha Wyatt I will always protect my little mate, she’s mine and mine only—as I am hers. My wolf keeps pushing through wanting to stay in wolf form just to be in our strongest form to defend our future Luna, Remi. I wouldn’t let harm come her way if I have anything to do with it, I do have my reputation for a reason. Before Remi came around, I was ruthless, I was known for my brutal force and strength. I was always good to my pack, but if any threat came our way or we had to advance on surrounding rabid rogues, I took immediate action, ending the threat without blinking an eye. I’m glad that my Alpha buddies are coming for the Luna Ceremony as I need some guy time to think about Remi’s dreams. I can fight all I want, but fighting a dream? How am I supposed to defeat an astral form, in her dreams that I can’t see or hear? Only if he’s real and he comes here for her, I’ll be r
“Already?!” I shouted. “It’s a failsafe to make sure we can produce an heir, our people, werewolves, need an Alpha and Luna to hold the pack together, to lead us, and to protect. Werewolves become rogues without a pack Remi, and a lone wolf is not the way our wolf counterparts want to live. We thrive in a pack and that’s why the Moon Goddess had created Alpha wolves, to have leadership and to prevent chaos. That’s why your heat keeps coming, until we succeed in mating, you’ll have them. If we can’t get pregnant, there are herbs that keep the heat away, but it also blocks our mate bond.” I was deep in thought I couldn’t even respond, isn’t that just a lovely way to start a hot steamy night… All I could think about was what if I’m broken and can’t produce an heir for Wyatt’s family legacy? If I can’t g
“Oh shit,” I gasped. “What!? What does it say Remi!?” Mom shouted. “I want to see!” Grandma yelled. “Will you both keep it down!?” I huffed. “Your dad knows honey, he was with me at the store,” mom shrugged. “Great, thanks mom,” I sighed. “Sorry.” “It’s negative, does that mean something is wrong with me? I mean I couldn’t stop the entire night
