Episode 43

Lena's POV.

Hot tears flowed down my eyes as I clenched my teeth tightly, trying hard not to give up my ghost. I couldn't breathe anymore as my throat was seized tightly by Hutton.

I was wavering my legs, which were hung in the air, trying hard to free myself, but it was all futile. Hutton had succeeded in tricking me into his trap. I had fallen into it so easily, the call for help was just to get me here where he had demons waiting to strike me.

Until now, I still couldn't understand what was going on. The man I was seeing was Hutton, but all he did was make me doubt he was the one. I had rushed here to help him because I never wanted his death, but instead, I was attacked by a legion of demons without giving me a chance to catch my breath.

I had struggled with my wolf but ended up receiving bone-breaking blows that left me crawling for life.

"Hutton, do you want me to die?They are killing me!" I shrieked at him the moment I saw he wasn't wounded but staring at me.
