She gave Ellie a questioning look but Ellie only shrugged at her friend pointing to the TV set, if Loris was not ready to talk, then she would join her in watching the movie, she would be there when Loris decide to finally speak up. That is what best friends do. Laugh together, cry together.
Loris reached for the popcorn but met Ellie’s hand which was also reaching for the popcorn, the looked at each other then to the empty rubber of popcorn.
“The movie is not even over” Complained Loris “The popcorn is finished and that was your fault!”
“Come on, don’t be selfish now” Ellie said pushing the popcorn rubber away from her laps.
“You were not invited here in the first place” Loris said in a shaky voice.
