After a couple of hours, I put on my swimming suit and then topped it with a casual outfit. I sat on the bed waiting for Jason to finish whatever he is doing, he has been on call for almost twenty minutes now, and he said it was about some Alpha work stuff, I don’t bother to ask such questions because I know if I do, I won’t still understand anything. I looked around my room, thinking of what do to, I hate being ideal. I lay across the bed, staring at the ceiling."Jason come let’s go" I yelled so he could hear me. "Ugh!" I sat up and I grabbed his jacket just for something to do, folding it up, I felt something inside the jacket. I checked the right pocket there wasn’t anything there, checking the left one, I found a photo, I pulled it out and It was of Jason and four other guys, he had his arm around a blond guy next to him. I could only recognize two guys which were Alex and Noah, the other two are strangers to me. In the picture, they were grinning and laughing. I know I’m not supp
One day left before Jason and I fly back to the ranch, I’m already missing this place, I can’t believe it’s already been five days, it feels like we’ve just spent two days and after all those days I didn’t exactly feel like I had fun to the extent I will be crazy not to leave. Barbara and I are presently sited on the couch thinking of how to spend the day; I don’t care what Jason says I’m gonna have limitless fun today considering it’s my last day here. I turned to Barbara who sat beside me, her head resting on the couch and eyes staring at the ceiling."Have you thought of something yet?" I asked "Still thinking girlfriend." She replied; her eyes still gazing at the ceiling I sighed "How about now, have you thought of something?""Not yet." "Okay, what about now?" I asked again "I said I’m still thinking." She stated in a profound tone "Sure, but how about now, did you think of something?" The only reason why I’m asking her over and over again is that I’m bored and we’ve been s
I woke up in the morning, tightly wrapped in Jason’s arm. He was spooning me from behind, breathing deeply into the back of my hair. His heavy arm was draped over me, pining my arm to his chest, he was holding my hand tightly, our fingers interlaced. I gasped and looked at the clock; it was nine o’clock. "Jason, wake up," I mumbled "Just a few more minutes. I’m tired." He muttered sleepily, pulling me tighter to his chest."No, it’s already nine o’clock and we haven’t packed our clothes," I said pulling out of his grip"Jason wakes up, it’s almost time to leave and we haven’t packed yet." I softly tap his chest. He turned to the other side "We don’t have to leave so early." This is the same man that specifically told me that we are leaving at ten o’clock sharp, not a minute late. I rolled my eyes and got off the bed, adjusting my skirt and then walking toward the table to grab my phone. As I did, I came across five messages from Barbara. I tapped on the messages and just as I though
Driving through the familiar roads the strong wind nipped at my face, ruffling my hair, I tugged it behind my ear and smiled at the sight of the trees; I kinda missed the ranch but I also miss the city, even though I had just visited the city, I miss it. Before we left, Barbara promised that she would come to visit but I know she’s just bluffing, she said that exact thing when I was going to marry Tyler but didn’t come to visit. Bidding goodbye was pretty much hard for me because I didn’t want to leave, I wanted to stay for at least two more days; it’s fair to think that way because I planned on visiting the city to hang out with Barbara but instead otherwise happened. I let out a breath when Jason pulled into the driveway. Climbing down the car and walking toward the car truck to get my suitcase, Jessica walked up from nowhere and rushed me for a hug."I missed you, I missed you so much." She excitedly said "Hi Jess, I missed you too." I awkwardly said. I didn’t actually miss her, I
I was tangled in the sheets and blankets, laying on my stomach with a pillow covering my head. I lifted myself my elbow slightly, the pillow tumbled over. My eyes were squinted as the sun shine through the curtains making me groan and lay my head back on the mattress. I slowly turned over to my back, my arm reaching over to rest over my head. I groaned every time I heard the sound of birds chirping on the window. I squeezed my eyes closed trying to go back to sleep but couldn’t, one thing about me is that once I’m up then there is a slight chance of me going back to bed. I rolled out of my bed and stretched my way to the chest of the mirror, glimpsing at my reflection, I’ve got two words; hot and sexy. Even with the messy bun, I looked great. I grabbed my towel and dashed into the bathroom. Turning on the shower and then going to brush my teeth. Last night was great, after having that amazing meal Jessica made even though the chicken wasn’t tender, I enjoyed it the rest of the dishes.
Even though Jason told me not to leave the house, I figured it won’t hurt anyone if I go shopping with Jessica and by the way, my shopping plans with Jessica is between me and her, no one has to know anything about it when I say no one I mean Jason in particular. I wonder what’s the big deal in letting me leave the house when he’s not around. I stepped into my room, grabbed my purse, applied lipstick, and chapped my lips. I smiled at my reflection before heading out. If Jason was here he would have complimented me; probably say something like, you look pretty or beautiful; his compliment words end and start with beautiful and pretty. As I walked into the living room, I sat on the couch waiting for Jess. Once she head out of her room, we walked out of the house and then slipped into the car. I watched her as she sat in the driver's seat."You’re driving?” I asked "Yeah!" She responded throwing her bag on the backseat. As her foot pressed down onto the accelerator, the car lurched alo
Am I the only one that thinks reading a novel is like watching a movie but in your head? I love how writers describe things and make them so realistic. I sat on the couch with my my back resting again on the backrest of it, my knees made a right angle, feet flat on the floor, and legs uncrossed. I held the book with my right hand and the left is a black coffee I asked Margarita; the maid to make for me earlier, coffee goes with everything, books especially. The book wasn’t too close to my face neither it was too far, just leveled to avoid any headache. I always have headache when I zoom my eyes in full concentration. As I flipped to the next page, I took a sip of coffee and continued reading, almost reaching the end of the page, I heard footsteps coming from the hallway, I gaze at the door and then back to the book. My expression changed after I read a paragraph. The number one thing I love about mystery novels is that they always come with unexpected twists. I was about to flip to th
My eyes started to slowly open, still slightly hazy, once my eyes cleared, they started adjusting, I blinked twice before I widen my eyes open. My brows snap into a furrow when I set my gaze around my environment. "What happened? Where am I? How in the hell did I get here?" My thoughts crushed my brain as I scanned the environment. I couldn’t recognize a bit of this place. I gaze around the place, I saw the window was barricaded with metal, it looked like the room was made windowless, I gulped at my thought it encouraged a bundle of nerves to just kick in my stomach and devour my inside. The whole room was filled with darkness and I disliked it, it was horribly terrifying. The damp smell of the room was unbearable; it reeked of fresh blood which made my body suspense in apprehension."Hello! Is anyone here? Jason." I called out. My voice echoed around the room, it made it clear that I was all alone."Jason! Anyone help!" I screamed, my voice echoing around as I continued to call out,
