JASON POV

As I stepped into the house, I met Jessica seated on the couch.

"Hey Jason, is Roger back with you?" She asked

"Yeah he should be, he’s probably on his way, he left some minutes after I did."

"Okay." She muttered turning back to continue what she was reading.

I still wonder why Ivy and Jessica spend their time reading a novel, what’s wrong with them, I can’t spend hours or even minutes staring at a book made with a bunch of papers, I would rather just hear the audio form of the book or just take a nap, at least naps are worth it.

As I walked toward the elevator, I stopped and turned back to Jessica.

"Hey Jess, Is Ivy in her room?" I asked, not wanting to go all the up to the third floor and then later out find she was on the second floor in the library.

"Yeah but wait a minute."

"What’s wrong, is Ivy okay?" I instantly asked

"Oh my god, you are so desperate Jason, I thought you wouldn’t be able to forget about ‘her’ when Ivy comes into your life but now I can see, you_"
