Naomi pov

“Good morning ma’am.” Albert greeted me when he sighted me in the kitchen pouring myself a cup of coffee.

“Look who’s finally here.” Albert has not reported to work for the past three days and he was not even responsive enough to take permission from me.

“My apologies for being unprofessional.” He said to me and apologized sincerely. I realized it must have been an unavoidable situation.

“It’s fine, so you want to talk about it?” I asked him to try to be humane with him.

“No personal talks during work hours, your concern is very much appreciated.”

Albert is so impossible, I was only trying to be friendly with him but he found his way to turn the whole thing into something else.

He walked away and got back to work. I watched him from afar and how handles his work diligently, I couldn’t help but admire him.

“Please don’t,” Cassie whispered in my ear while I was staring at Albert. “Oh my.” I screamed out in shock and splashed coffee on my dress.

“Why are you so clumsy?” Cas
