Chapter 59

Alpha Baron's POV

Starting this morning with a council meeting was the least thing I wanted to do but I didn't have any choice, rather than to go for it.

If it wasn't about the rogue's attack, there was absolutely nothing we wanted to deliberate about. More still, it seems the rogues have gone extinct, that didn't means I let my guard down and so I see no reason why a meeting was called this morning.

At the moment, I was having breakfast with Raven and Naomi in the dining table. It was so quiet and at intervals, I could see Raven casting Naomi a glance accompanying it with a jeer.

While I was with her the previous night before heading for bed, I wanted to interogate her about the event of several years ago by casually talking about her childhood but she began to feign tiredness and so I have no choice but to give up on the questioning but at the same time, my suspicion was heightened.
