Aurelia's POV

I took a small sip of my wine and gripped the glass tightly, deciding to ignore her. I turned to Mrs. Williams,

" So, what's on the group's agenda? Where are we volunteering? A soup kitchen, an orphanage?"

The women shared looks and burst into laughter, Mrs. Williams finished laughing and wiped at her eyes.

"Oh honey, so young, so naive. We don't actually do the work, we just sign checks and send it off to the different places they need to go. Right now, we're donating a new gym to Blackstone Prep, then we're going to send a check to an orphanage somewhere in Africa, we're going to spin, and wherever the bottle lands is the country we'll send it to." I was gobsmacked, I looked around the room so if anyone felt the way I did but they were all the same.
