Chapter 6

Ivy looked at him with tears in her eyes , desperately wanting to prove to him face that she wasn't Selena but she knew he would never listen.

She sniffed loudly then stared deep into his eyes with a hint of defeat and coldness in her eyes.

"I will stay with you just please don't let my brother get kicked out of the hospital " She mumbled and Damon smirked then raised his hand up and Pat her on the head.

"Good girl , I know you would make the right decision " he said then picked up his phone and dialed a number.

The person on the other end of the phone immediately picked up the call.

"Let him remain in the hospital I will pay all the bills and upgrade his ward to the VIP ward " Damon instructed then hung up before the person could say a word.

"What do you want to eat ,doll ? " He asked and pulled her into his arms making her shocked and also angry.

"I am not hungry " She mumbled through her gritting teeth.

"Doll are you mad at me ? " Damon asked innocently like he hadn't just tried to get her brother killed by sending him out of the hospital.

"I am not " Ivy Forced those words out of her mouth.

"Okay then can I get a kiss ? " He asked and leaned in.

Ivy was getting angrier by the minute and just wanted to punch Damon in the face or even kick him in the crotch but she quickly calmed herself down and cursed him multiple times in her heart as she stood on the tip of her toe and pressed her lips against his.

She gasped in shock when Damon wrapped his hand around her waist and started kissing her deeply.

CELESTE'S OFFICE

"ARGH!!!! " Celeste yelled like a lunatic as she sent all the things on her desk crashing on the floor.

She stood in front of her desk , looking really angry , she was breathing heavily and her hands were even shaking from anger.

"I thought he was done with that fake!!! I have to do something , Damon shouldn't be with her , he should be with me I am the right one for him " She mumbled under her breath , clutching her hands to a fist as she rant.

FEW DAYS LATER ~ DAMON'S MANSION

Damon was inside the study room with a guy called Randy, both of them had been friends since childhood and are really close.

People even find it hard to believe that both men were best pals because they are completely different from one another.

Damon was the cold ,bossy type while Randy on the other hand was jovial and an international billionaire playboy.

"So Selena is really alive I can't believe this " Randy Said with a speechless expression on his face.

Him and Damon were currently discussing about Selena.

"Yeah , she is alive and back to me " Damon said.

"But don't you think you did too much to have her by your side , I mean buying the place she lived in was enough but you went too far by trying to get her brother kicked out of the hospital especially since you said she lost her memory and doesn't know who you are ? " Randy said seriously and Damon lazily drank his cup of whiskey.

"We both know the boy isn't really Her brother they just got together when she escaped death and lost her memory " he mumbled.

"Still you did too much and also try not to cage her in like a bird , she is human and she has the right to do whatever she wants " Randy reminded him and he paused for a while.

Meanwhile ,while the two men were discussing Ivy was walking around the mansion with a dull face.

It has been four days since Damon had brought her to this mansion and he never lets her out.

She was always feeling bored , she tried to make friends with the helpers in the house but nobody wanted to be her friend cause they felt they didn't have the right to befriend the boss wife And the twins had been sent to stay with their grandparents yesterday.

She squatted down next to the bushes of rose flowers , admiring them and smiling as she stared at them.

"They are beautiful right ? " She suddenly heard a male voice right next to her.

"Ah! " She screamed , startled by the sudden man and fell on her butt.

"I am so sorry I didn't mean to scare you " The guy apologized and stretched out his hand to help her up.

"Are you okay ? " He asked as Ivy stood up on her feet.

"I am alright I just got startled by your voice " ivy said.

"I am sorry I didn't mean to scare you " The man said and Ivy smiled.

"It's okay , are you new here ? This is my first time seeing your face here " Ivy said while smiling.

"Yeah I am the new Gardener , by the way my name is Xander " Xander said and stretched his hand out for a handshake.

Ivy was about to accept his handshake and introduced herself when she felt a huge presence behind her.

She looked at Xander who was in front of her, seeing his frightened look she could tell just who was behind her.

"Excuse me sir " Xander said and bowed before running off like his pants were on fire.

Ivy turned around to see Damon , who looked a bit angry.

"Were you about to shake that boy's hand ? " He asked and she frowned.

"Is it a crime for me to do that ? " She asked and rolled her eyes.

"Yes , I wanna be the only man who touches your soft delicate hands " He said and Ivy tried so hard not to hiss but at the end of the day she hissed.

"Don't follow me I want to be alone " She said and walked out of the garden before Damon could say a word.

"My doll is so beautiful " Damon mumbled dreamily and chuckled.

A LUXURIOUS MANSION

"Mom I already told you I don't want to attend that school!! " A short average girl could be seen shouting at her mom who glared at her angrily.

"You are from a wealthy respected family Blackridge is the best school for you and you are going to attend it " Her mom said sternly and the girl chuckled.

"I will just run away again like I did the previous time and this time around you will never find me " The girl threatened and her mom sighed from stress and exhaustion.

"Hazel can you just please stop making things difficult for me ?? You are not a little child so stop behaving like one!! " Her mom scolded her.

Hazel stomped her feet angrily on the floor before storming off her to her room, she shut the door with a loud bang and threw herself on her soft pink mattress.

She buried her face in her pillow crying silently.

Hazel appeared as a poor girl earlier and was living with Ivy in the slum but she wasn't a poor girl in fact she came from a wealthy family.

Her mom was a multi millionaire while her dad , she knows nothing about him she doesn't even know who he is because her mom never talks about him.

Though Hazel has a rich mom and could get whatever she wanted but she was never happy.

Her mom was a control freak and is always trying to decide her life for her that was why Hazel ran away from home but was later caught by the detective her mom had paid to find her.
