Chapter 7

DIAMOND FAMILY MANSION

The big well looking mansion was packed with maids moving up and down and a girl sitting down in the dinning room watching the maids every movement and ordering them around like a worthless being.

The Diamond family was a well known wealthy family in New York city both Mr and Mrs diamond have two daughters who were loved and pampered greatly.

Their eldest daughter is called Anastasia, She is a well known model and actress in the city and is really popular.

Their Youngest daughter is called Naomi, She is a spoiled brat and is as mean and evil as her elder sister Anastasia.

"Bring the mash potatoes close to me " She ordered one of the maids who immediately did as she ordered .

Soon after her mom and dad came downstairs and joined her in the dinning room.

"Someone woke up really early today " Her dad said teasingly and she smiled like an angel she wasn't.

"You know I am resuming to school today I have to leave a big impression and make a grand entry into the school " Naomi said and flip her hair , showing off the diamond earrings on her ears.

The earring instantly caught Mrs Diamond attention just as Naomi had intended to happen when she flipped her hair.

"Honey isn't that the new released earrings from Prada , did you get it for Naomi ? " Mrs Diamond asked and Naomi chuckled irritatedly.

"Why can't he get it for me ? I am his daughter anyways so why are you making it seem like a big deal ?? " Naomi asked as she glared at Mrs Diamond.

Mrs Diamond wasn't Anastasia and Naomi's biological mother , their real mom ran away with some man when she and Anastasia were little.

Mr Diamond had managed to raise them all by himself but just recently got married to Mrs Diamond who Naomi hates with passion.

"No you misunderstood me I di......."

"I lost my appetite dad I can't eat if you wife won't stop barking, I am leaving " Naomi said and stood up she walked over to her dad and Pecked him on the cheek before leaving.

Mrs Diamond watched her leave before turning to look at her husband who didn't say anything to defend her , his wife when Naomi had insulted her.

"Henry , Don't you think Naomi went too far ? She insulted m....."

"Sarah stop being petty , Naomi is just a kid and doesn't mean whatever she said be the grown up and let it go " Mr diamond said smugly and started eating.

Sarah Said nothing else and started eating in silence for a while .

"Today is my grandmother's death anniversary would you come with me to visit her grave and pay respect ? " She asked in a cool voice with a hoping smile on her face.

Mr Diamond turned to look at her , his eyes showing anger and disdain in them.

"I am not your lap dog , go by yourself I have other important things to do " He said and got up then left the dining room leaving Sarah alone.

Sarah looked at the empty huge dining room with only her and felt really empty and lonely .

She forced a smile and started eating breakfast like she was alright.

BLACKRIDGE COLLEGE

Naomi's new black jeep drove into the school earning the attention of other students close by.

🗣️Is the person a new student?!!!

🗣️ I wonder if it is a male or female!!!

🗣️I am dieing to see who it is!!!!

Naomi still sitting inside the car smirked proudly before pushing the door open and getting out of the car.

The moment she stepped out screams rang out from all the students.

🗣️ OMG it Naomi!!!

🗣️ Our queen is back!!!!

🗣️She looks more beautiful!!!

🗣️Naomi please look at me!!! I love you so much!!!!

Naomi just smiled and cat walked to wherever she was going to without acknowledging the students shouting and praising her.

"Who is she ? " A nerd girl on glasses asked the girl next to her.

"Are you new here ? "The girl asked.

"Yeah " The nerd said and adjusted her huge glasses.

"No wonder, Naomi is like the queen bee of Blackridge college , not only is she pretty and wealthy but she has a popular sister Anastasia who is an actress and a model! " The girl told the nerd girl who just mumbled a simple "Oh " Before heading to the school library.

Meanwhile Naomi was walking in the hallway when she heard her friend's voice form behind.

"Naomi!!! " Her friend screamed and ran to hug Naomi.

The moment she pulled Naomi into a hug Naomi pushed her away causing her to stumble backwards and fall in her butt.

"Naomi!! " Her friend yelled and she rolled her eyes.

"You know I don't do hugs , you should know your place Katie " Naomi said and dusted herself like she had gotten dirty when Katie had hugged her .

Katie's face went red from embarrassment but she quickly got over it.

She stood up from the floor and dusted herself.

"Sorry I just got overwhelmed when I saw you, you didn't tell me you were resuming today " Katie said.

"Do I need to tell you when I am going to resume school ? "Naomi said rudely and Katie burst into a nervous laugh.

"No , I didn't mean it that way , so how was your holiday in Paris ? " Katie asked.

"It was fun I made a new friend , she might even resume here soon " Naomi said and started walking away while Katie followed behind like her little puppy.

Katie's phone suddenly started ringing and she took it out of her bag , her smile faded when she saw it was Matteo calling.

She quickly cut the call and switched off her phone.

ROYAL HOSPITAL

Matteo who was now in a much better ward with better facilities thanks to Damon was sitting on the hospital bed with his phone in his hands.

"Why is it suddenly saying switched off ? Is she ignoring me " He mumbled to himself.

"Your girlfriend isn't picking up ? " A girl spoke as she stepped out of the restroom , drying her hand with her handkerchief.

"Her line is saying switched off maybe she has a flat battery " He said and dropped his phone while the girl sat on the visitor chair that was placed next to his bed.

"When was the last time Katie came to check on you ? " Aubrey asked and Matteo paused slightly before replying.

"Mm..it's been a while " He replied honestly and Aubrey sighed.

"Matteo are you sure Katie isn't seeing another guy ? " She asked and Matteo's facial expression changed.

"Aubrey I respect you a lot but I won't let you slander my girlfriend like that , Katie is just probably busy with school stuff " Matteo said.

"You are right I am sorry I didn't mean to get you upset " She apologized.

"It's fine , so how is everything going ? "

Aubrey and Matteo are close friends though Matteo is a little bit older than her.

Just like how ivy doesn't like Katie , Aubrey also doesn't like her (Katie)

"Fine I am just waiting for Blackridge exam results " Aubrey answered.

Both of them had taken the exam together.

"Don't worry I have a feeling we will be granted a scholarship " Matteo said confidently and Aubrey smiled her cheeks turned slightly red without her knowing.

LATER THAT DAY ~ DAMON'S MANSION

Ivy was staying alone in the backyard by the pool side.

Damon had left for an important meeting in the company some hours ago , leaving her alone with the maids and cooks in the house.

She squatted next to the pool dipping her hand inside it and feeling the cold water on her skin.

She was in her own little world and failed to notice Celeste who had come back home to get an important document for Damon.

Celeste was standing behind her with hatred gleaming in her eyes.

"I wish I knew how to swim the weather is really hot , I will have just swim in the pool to cool off" She mumbled.

After hearing Ivy's word an evil plan popped up in Celeste's mind.

She stretched her hand forward and pushed Ivy into the pool.

"Arghh!!!! " Ivy yelled as she fell into the pool making a loud splash.

Celeste turned around and ran out of the backyard before ivy could see her.

Ivy started struggling inside the water, trying to swim out of it but it was impossible , she started screaming for help as she was beginning to drown.

"HELP!! I CAN'T SWIM, PLEASE HELP ME!! . " She screamed for help as she struggled to get off the pool on her own.

A maid not far away heard cries for help and wanted to go and check the backyard but Celeste stopped her.

"Where are you going to ? "Celeste asked coldly.

"I was hearing cries for help ma , it sounded like the master woman and I think it was coming for the backyard " The maid said while Celeste glared at her.

"You must have heard wrong , the boss woman is taking a shower upstairs and is perfectly fine now get lost " She said.

"I still have to check the backyard I swear I heard someone screaming for help......."

"If you don't want to lose your job , I suggest you shut up and get lost " Celeste said.

Meanwhile at the backyard Ivy's hands had lost their strength and she was now sinking deep into the pool.

She could feel death calling her name as she sank deep into the pool and no one came to save her.

She lost consciousness from lack of oxygen and her eyes started to close slowly as her life slipped out of her body......................
