“Seriously?”

I could not believe what I was seeing, but then again, they are businessmen.

Negotiation is an inherent part of their business. They were used to making deals.

I nodded and wordlessly led the way toward the house.

It took some time before Victor, Jeremy, Shan, and Samuel followed me, and when they showed up, I was surprised by their haul.

Paper bags from famous children's brands greeted me. I assume they were his gifts. Jeremy has always been generous with my children. That was why they were always excited to see him.

His taste was always exemplary.

“I already coordinated with a caterer. They will be coming over soon.” Jeremy informed me after they placed the paper bags on the living room floor.

It was only then that I noticed that the children were conspicuously absent from the living room, and I presumed they must be in the entertainment room.
