The cafeteria went still. People seemed to stop breathing as Liam cut across the room in a sharp black suit. His jaw was hard as stone. Vincent walked beside him, and two huge bodyguards were behind them like shadows. When he reached our table he stopped, and the air felt like it snapped.

“Liam,” I stammered, trying to rise. The IV pole rattled beside me. “How–how are my babies? Are they crying? I miss them so much.”

He looked at me, and his silence sliced deeper than any answer.

Nathan tightened his hold on my arm and guided me back into the chair. “Don’t push yourself, Olivia,” he said. His voice was low and steady. “You need to rest.”

Liam’s glare swung to him. “What is it with you Rodway brothers?” His voice was flat and dangerous. “I told Justin to stay the hell away from her. Now it’s you? Are you trying to piss me off?”

I froze.

How could he tell Nathan was Justin's twin? Half the time I couldn't tell them apart in high school.

“Nathan is my doctor,” I said, my teeth clenched.

  • Bad Contract with the Billionaire Devil   Who Gave You A Drink?

Olivia's POV“God, my head hurts,” I whispered, the words feeling like heavy lead weights I was dragging through thick mud.A banging headache hit me with the force of a sledgehammer the moment I tried to stir. I felt myself resting on something solid, warm, and slightly damp. But what really made my breath hitch wasn't the pain in my skull; it was the intrusive, pulsing sensation between my legs. I felt a constant twitching deep inside me; a presence that shouldn't have been there. Aside from that, a heavy, muscular weight was draped firmly around my waist, pinning me down.I slowly forced my eyes open, blinking against the harsh morning light, and once I did, I froze. It was as if the pounding in my brain suddenly went silent from pure shock.“Liam?” My voice was tiny, a fractured rasp that barely carried in the quiet room.He was right there, his face inches from mine, but his eyes were shut. In the unforgiving clarity of the morning, I could see every sharp line of his chiseled fa

  • Bad Contract with the Billionaire Devil   The Morning After the Poison

Liam's POVNot long ago, I had passed out on the plush Italian leather sofa in my private lounge. It had been one absolute hell of a night: a gauntlet of rage, fear, and interrogation. I had gotten drained quickly, physically and emotionally, even though I tried to maintain my iron composure. But just when I thought I was finally able to rest for a few precious hours, my damn phone started buzzing relentlessly on the coffee table. I didn't answer, ignoring the persistent vibration, but it just kept ringing again and again, a digital mosquito I couldn't swat.I groaned, shifting my weight on the sofa, feeling the stiffness in my back. When I squinted my eyes open against the glare, I saw that it was bright already; morning light streaming through the floor-to-ceiling windows. I grabbed the buzzing phone blindly and turned the damn thing off before tossing it onto the rug. Then I went right back to sleep, jamming my hand behind my head, desperate for oblivion. But that didn't last long.

  • Bad Contract with the Billionaire Devil   Buried In A Trench

Evelyn’s POV“I was busy sorting out some business with my boys when the word hit the street. Something happened to you on that set. I didn't think, I just drove. I rushed down to that hospital like a man possessed just to see if you were breathing, and then I ran into that pathetic excuse for a family of yours.”“What?” I gasped, my eyes widening with more fake alarm this time. “You did what? Dax, why the hell would you go there? My dad would have had you buried in a trench!”I knew he had been there; my family had told me everything; how Olivia said it through her tears about the 'scary man' who had confronted her while she was wearing my face. But I had to maintain the lie. If Dax suspected even for a second that there were two of us, he wouldn't just be a nuisance; he would be a blackmailer.Dax scanned my face, his dark eyes narrowing as if he were trying to peel back my skin to see the thoughts underneath. “Why not, Evelyn?” he snarled, his grip on my wrists tightening until the

  • Bad Contract with the Billionaire Devil   Where Is That Girl?

Evelyn's POV“Come on now, Evelyn,” Dax called out, his voice muffled by the glass but chillingly calm. “Open the damn door or I’m going to smash it open. You know I don't like waiting in the cold.”The danger in his tone wasn't a bluff. Dax was a man who lived for the break; he would shatter the window and pull me through the glass without a second thought. With a frustrated growl, I reached forward and hit the unlock button. Dax didn't hesitate. He pulled the door open, slid into the back seat beside me, and slammed it shut with a sharp click.“What the fvck is this joke for, Dax?” I snapped. My voice trembled with leftover fear and new anger. “How could you trail me like a criminal? Do you have any idea what tonight has been like? Do you want to give me a stroke?!”I kept yelling, throwing every insult I could find at him, but he didn't say a word. He just sat there, his eyes; dark, calculating, and predatory, running over my body. He lingered on the emerald silk of my dress, study

  • Bad Contract with the Billionaire Devil   You?

Evelyn's POV“First of all, her name is Olivia Brown. And yes, to answer your invasive questions, she is the biological mother of Liam's twins.”They all gasped in sharp shock, camera shutters going wild. Even my family behind me looked like they were going to pass out from the audacity of my confession.“But that is not all,” I continued, leaning into the microphones, savoring the power of the truth I was twisting. “She is a woman we hired out of pity. A surrogate who signed a contract to disappear, but who has now decided to stalk my fiancé, disrupt our lives, and use her children as leverage to extort money from the Smith family.”I added. “Tonight was not a romantic gesture; it was a desperate attempt by a disturbed woman to ruin us. And Liam... Liam only left to ensure she doesn't die on our watch, because unlike her, we have a conscience.”I paused, letting the half lie settle, painting myself as the victim and Olivia as the villain.“So print that,” I continued coldly. “And tel

  • Bad Contract with the Billionaire Devil   …Destroy The Smith Alliance!

Evelyn's POV “Liam! Liam!”I kept screaming his name. My voice was raw and desperate, while running after him in my heels across the cold pavement of the gala entrance. But he didn't stop. He didn’t even bother looking back once. He just dove into the waiting car, slammed the door, and then he was gone, tires screeching, just like that. The asshole really left me there, humiliated in front of the entire elite society, and went to chase after that slut.“Son of a bitch!” I yelled into the frigid night air, uncaring of the curious eyes burning into my back. “Is that slut more important than me?! Is she?”My hands were clenched so tightly that I could feel my freshly manicured nails digging painfully into my palms. I was breathing harder and harder, each inhale was a sharp stab of fury, until I felt a firm hand on my shoulder. When I turned to take a look, I saw my mom, my dad, and Liam's entire family huddled together; they all looked worried and furious at the same time.“Calm down, h
