Chapter 9. Langdon was interrogated
“Can Daddy cook?” Mike finally spoke up.
Cade laughed at the boy’s question until Mike thought it meant his father wasn’t much of a cook.“I’ll cook for you when I have some free time. Trust me, Daddy’s cooking will not be inferior to that of a five-star hotel chef.” Cade said smugly.Mika’s response was flat. “You’d better be. At least you have something to show us.”Cade could only scratch his head which wasn’t itchy. He was running out of ideas to make these two kids admire him. Maybe he would think of another way later.When the ordered food arrived, two waiters were serving them the meal. They arranged the dishes on the table and cleaned up when they were done.“I’m going to the company for a while. I have some business to attend to.
