Glinda stayed behind while the rest of us travelled inside the airport and boarded the plane to Orlando. Daisy immediately took the window seat , pointing at the ant-like houses below us. I could see uneasiness on Jessica’s face as she tried to distract herself by playing with a very excited Daisy .

I know this was not easy for her as this was our first time on a plane and the agitated feeling of flying in the air would scare the shit out of anyone.

Half way through our journey , Zander fell asleep against the window. He was tired . We all were. Travelling from south to north Alaska was not easy.

We didn’t have time to rest in between except Daisy, who was comfortable enough to sleep in the car.

I secretly wished the window was my shoulder. I wasn’t going to push Zander, she needed time to heal and trust me.
