I woke up to Daisy curling in between Raven and me. My heart jumped in bliss, for the first time ever, I had a mate to share a bed with and then spend my life with.

I had thought I would relive the heartbreak and pain of losing my mate, Rose, when I returned to my pack, but the feeling was the opposite.

I felt fulfilled. It felt so good to be home. I was at ease, knowing that I could control the security around the pack ground and protect Raven with the help of my family and pack.
