He was about to hit him again but I stopped him. "that's enough! That's enough, Kenneth!" I yelled.

"Ken! You have to stop this right now! Just, stop it!" I pushed him away and hurriedly crouched to James' level on the floor. He was seriously groaning in pain.

I should have stopped him earlier but everything happened so fast. He shouldn't have raised his hand to hit Ken. There's no way he can beat him.
