Chapter 54

Lily went home with the assurance from Trevor that he wouldn't say anything about Justin or her going to the swimming competition. She didn't want any hassle with Nik. Although they rarely talked since they came from the bungalow, she didn't want the few words they talk to be scoldings or fightings

As usual, she spend the evening going through various materials, practising codings and learning programming related stuff. At about 8 pm, Nik reached home.

Soon the dining table was set by the maid that Nik appointed. Since Lily would be tired after coming from the university, Nik decided to have a cook at least. This was the second time in a day they usually meet and talk for a while.

"How was the swimming competition?" Nik asked as soon as he sat and the spoon in Liky's hand landed on the floor creating an ugly noise. "Your university's student group is filled with your and Justin's pictures. He looks fit. Oh! He even caught your hand." He sighed looking at his phone.
