A Rush Of Possessiveness

"Back to the company," Anders told his driver when he realized he had left an important file. He should have called and asked Veil to bring it to him, but, he chose otherwise. She must have already left for home. He had seen the excitement in her eyes when he had asked her to take the rest of the day off.

Just as the car pulled into Kingston Street, Anders lifted his eyes from his laptop, his gaze shifting to a particular someone who was currently standing with a man.

He should be in his early thirties, and from his outfit, should not even be considered a threat. Anders thought looking at the man. But, the sudden rush of possessiveness that took abrupt control of him came as a shock.

His brows narrowed at the man, then his brow deepened in a frown. In a pair of simple jeans and a tee shirt. Such a person would never win over him, he was confident about that, well until the strange man climbed into the jaguar parked adjacent to his company's building.
