26| A SICK PLEASURE

It was so comfy here. My pillow had never been so comfortable, and maybe it was because the universe knew how tired I had been last night that I was awarded some extra comfort. I liked it so much here, in fact, actually, I did not feel like waking up any longer.

I kept rubbing my body against the pillow unconsciously, half-knowing that I was rubbing against something hard, but also not awake enough to think about it.

A deep groan broke me out of my reverie. I froze on hearing the sound, because did my pillow just… groan? Little by little, I started to realize that what I was snuggled up against was in no way a pillow, and the realization caused me to start praying that it was not who I thought it was.
