Audrey POV

I take a deep breath and push the elevator button. I had never met Mr. Moxin before so a meeting with his wife was even more unlikely. I step inside and the music plays as I squeeze my thighs together. What is it about Mark that drives me so crazy?

He has this way about him- he’s charismatic but at the same time, his entire personality has started to change. Maybe he’s just terrified of losing me. I tap my flat against the elevator floor as I think, and it comes to a stop. The doors open and I walk to the office- I hope she has a better plan.

The receptionist smiles at me, “Raven, have a seat. Mrs. Moxin is with the police. She’ll be out in a moment.” I nod as I look at the closed door, “Do they have any word on Mr. Moxin?” I ask. The receptionist sighs, “I don’t know for sure. Hopefully, they find him soon.” She says sadly but there’s a look in her eye.
