Kass’s POV “Lady Kassandra,” Heinz falls in step beside me running. He does this every morning. He is the only one able to keep up with me and not die. I run full force and he keeps pace. After our first spar a month ago Heinz has been training hard. He is also gentle with my kids. I get overwhelmed sometimes being outnumbered, but Heinz comforts cries, feeds bottles, and sings to them. He won’t change diapers but that is not a problem. Eddie and I were a pretty good team when it came to the kids. I never considered how much I would miss the team work. Kassandra’s POV Heinz brought me a rose this morning before walking me to training. Our date last night ended with a smile at my door. Waking up this morning I fed my babies and got dressed only to open my door to Heinz with the flower in hand. “Good Morning Beautiful,” he smiles at me. “Can I walk you to the nursery and then to training?” I take the rose smiling and nodding. Kassandra’s POV For the past two months my routines have been full of happiness. I wake up every morning and Heinz is at my door with a red rose calling me beautiful. He helps me with the twins and then we train together. Hunt has given us patrol duties together after lunch so we eat lunch with my kids then patrol until dinner time. Most nights it’s packhouse dining room at a table for four, but on Wednesdays Heinz takes me on a date. Every week is something different. We have played laser tag, seen movies, we did a progressive dinner once, we let our beasts out to run in different forests, we swim in the river, he took me dancing once. We alternate weeks so I plan half our dates and he plans the others. We still haven’t kissed, not that I don’t want to kiss him, it’s just we are moving slow. Edward’s POV My forces are gathered just out side of Silver Lake. Alpha Hunt is coming to meet me with Kass. I’m bouncing with anticipation when her scent hits me. It’s mixed with another. DAY TWO Edward’s POV The tingles under my hand wake me.
