Edward’s POV

My forces are gathered just out side of Silver Lake. Alpha Hunt is coming to meet me with Kass. I’m bouncing with anticipation when her scent hits me. It’s mixed with another. She has had sex with the Lycan, and I didn’t feel it. I stop bouncing, she betrayed the bond in the worst way and I didn’t feel it. The realization that our mate bond is truly broken washes over me.
