First her index finger moved then it moved again realizing it was still held together in a cuff. Next, her other three fingers moved followed by her thumb. After a while of closing her eyes, she opened them and only then could she see, faintly though, and the movement was forced, her lashes felt extremely still against her visage.

She tried to whip her head to the side but realized that turning her neck was such a difficulty. Moving her legs proved futile as well as her whole form seemed to be glued to the bathtub where she lay.

She didn't know how long she had been in the bathtub, but she knew she had been in it long enough to have frozen to death, but something just kept her alive. She wasn't sure exactly what it was; grace or fate. She’s sure she spent the night if not some hours in the same position and same agony worse than she had ever encounter in her life.

Her muscles was beyond weakened, her breathing was faltered and cautious, a different kind of anguish is what
