Xael is going crazy with all these Alpha’s inquiring about Xena. This would be perfect if my spell worked. Soon, he will be himself and crazy about her. It will be worse during the full moon. Damn it!

“The procession is going to start soon. Let Gwen carry X-pack scepter. That will teach Xena a lesson,” Fiona suggests to her fuming brother.

I frantically shake my head. “That will make Luna very angry. I don’t want her to be angry with Xael,” I object and hope he will go along with it. Xena will definitely get her admirers to force Xael to divorce her if she finds out.

“The king has postponed the ceremony until Luna arrives,” Carl tells Xael, who clenches his fists.

I can’t help but smile inside. My spell might not work long, but I can use his weakness to destroy them. Xena is not the only one who acts impulsive when angry.

“The Lycan king must really like Luna to even postpone such an important occasion,” I say and watch Xael’s eyes blaze with anger.
