CHAPTER 120

DELIA'S POV

My blood boiled. Anger made it impossible to breathe.

It was only getting worse, and I, honestly, couldn't take it anymore.

All the drawers were open, and nothing I was looking for was there.

Not the thirty thousand dollars or documents for Zyliah's new branch were anywhere I'd kept them.

"What are you looking for?" Natalie came into my room, frowning over the mess I'd made. "Why's your room this messy?"

"My room would not be this messy if that irresponsible boyfriend of yours and his thief of a brother didn't steal my thirty thousand dollars and Zyliah's company documents." I gritted my teeth, trying so hard to contain my anger.

She looked taken aback, then her eyes went glossy. Shame washed over her features.

I heaved a sigh. "You don't have to feel ashamed. It's not your fault. Where are they?"

She shrugged. "They went out a few hours ago. I have no idea when they'll be back. God, I don't know when Jordan became this person." She was visibly distressed.

CHAPTER 119ZYLIAH'S POV"Bye, baby. I'll see you later." Fynn kissed my lips and walked to the door and out.I rushed over to lock the door and make a call. With bated breath, I waited and hoped he would pick.He didn't have this new number of mine. Even after making me get pregnant for his son, he seized the new phone Sayge had bought for me because, according to him, he didn't want me having distractions in my marriage. But thankfully, I had my best friends' numbers offhand, and Sayge's. I hope he would pick."Hello." He sounded exhausted.I cleared my throat, fighting nerves. "It's me. P-please, don't hang up. I..."The beep tone felt like a physical puncture to the side within my chest. I drew a deep breath and tried again. This time, he didn't pick up, and when I kept trying, it stopped connecting.I went online to chat him up. I just wanted to ask about the boys. The text didn't go through; he'd blocked me there as well. I felt like crying, and for a minute, I did let myself cr

CHAPTER 118ZYLIAH'S POVI ran out of there. Away from the pediatric wing. Away from the doctor's office where Fynn was. I found the bathroom and sat on one of the stalls, bawling my eyes out.The pain was too much. The echo of his words—'whore,' 'baby factory'—clawed at me from the inside. I understood his anger, but to reduce me to that? It was a cruelty I hadn't known he possessed.I didn't know how long I stayed there. But when my phone started to trill, I knew it would be Fynn. I quickly washed my face, wiped it, and headed for the doctor's office. There he was, at the entrance, looking worried as his eyes searched everywhere for me, his phone pressed to his ear. My phone rang again; he turned and saw me.He gave a sigh of relief. "Where have you been? I've been looking all over for you.""I had to use the bathroom," I answered disinterestedly, trying to avoid his gaze that was intently observing mine."You wasted an awful lot of time in there," he said, leading me to the car we'

CHAPTER 117ZYLIAH'S POV"The baby is sound and healthy. You and your husband have nothing to fear," the doctor assured.I sat there, not really paying attention to whatever the doctor and Fynn were saying.Fynn was all big smiles and huge grins, clearly happy that all of this was working in his favor."Baby, did you hear the doctor? He said all is fine. We'll welcome our baby girl soon." He didn't care if it was a boy or a girl; he was just happy to be an expectant father. His father, not so much. But Fynn didn't care. All he could talk about was me and the baby. Only it wasn't going to ever work out between us. Fynn seemed real. Like he'd realized his mistakes and was doing everything, desperately, to make up for it.But it was too late for him."Are you okay? You're not saying anything." His smile dimmed.I managed a smile and nodded. "Yeah, I'm good. Will you please keep talking to the doctor while I stretch my legs some? I need fresh air.""Fresh air is good," the doctor agreed.

CHAPTER 116MARTINO'S POV"Yes. The branch in Sydney.""The buyers are very much interested in that one, but they want to be reassured that they'll be getting the original certificate from the owner of Grymtel Tech." The realtor guy who I'd been connected with in Australia informed me."Everything is signed. They'll get the certificate and every other document as soon as I get the alert," I assured."Alright, I'll let them know."The call ended.A big satisfied grin spread across my lips as I dropped the telephone back to its cradle. I stared at the mountain of documents before me.These were the documents for all of Sayge's companies in and out of the country. I would start selling them off one after the other. It was better than trying to head Grymtel as CEO.No, Sayge was smart. That could go south for me. Selling was the best, and holy cow! I knew how much I'd get by selling the entire Grymtel chain.I never realized he even had hotels and clubs. What a business guru; too bad he w

CHAPTER 115VICTORIA'S POVWatching Sabrina's pathetic sobbing session grated on my last nerve. I'd raised her to be strong, and that was all she had been. I'd introduced the idea of her taking Fynn from Zyliah, and I couldn't regret it because at the time, it was the best decision. I wanted a good life for her. One she wouldn't have to suffer. Well, it would seem that had lasted...for six years. Everything had come crumbling, not just on her, but on me too. She'd lost it with Fynn, and I with Anthony. But I was going to ensure we got it right back because we deserved everything. I didn't come this far with my daughter only for us to meet with a bad end.If Anthony wouldn't take me back, I didn't need him. He was no more important to me than Sabrina's biological father had been. But one thing was clear: I wasn't going to be the poor, divorced loser. As for Sabrina, she'd made a choice, and I could only support her. She wanted love. She wanted Fynn. I'd help her get him back into h
