Kidney Damage

"Sara's point of view,"

"What happened to you, Sara?"

He looked at me, removing my palm from my face.

"I don't want to talk to you."

Fleeing to the restroom, I yanked his hand.

I have no idea why, but I felt like crying uncontrollably. It's becoming increasingly difficult for me to hold back my tears, but I'm afraid he'll tease me if I do.

Before now, I had never tasted or even sipped whisky. He made me gulp down the whisky, even though I wanted to say no to him. In reality, it tastes bitter. I drank whisky, and now my head is spinning. Now I want to throw up.

"Why are you crying?" He followed me into the restroom.

"My dad mistreated me horribly. You know, when I was a child, he abandoned me and my mother."

I wanted to kick him out of the restroom because I didn't want to show him my vulnerable side, and I wanted to vomit peacefully, but I struggled to maintain my body weight.

I felt secure in his arms as he led me to the sink.
