“Lover?” the woman looked at me with disbelief as she took a glance at Zygo, “I’m his fiance,” she said and anchored her arms to the man beside her, looking for support.
I tried to hide my expression. My left brow raised as I stared at the woman. She was like a leech in the intensity of her hands attached to Zygo.
“Fiance? He never told me that he was engaged to someone. We are dating, right, darling?” I muttered and brought my eyes to Zygo, who was staring at me. His lips suddenly formed a grin.
“Is that true, Zygo?” the woman asked him as he nodded. Zygo quickly removed the woman’s hands, approached me, and put his arms around my waist, causing me to flinch.
“Yes, Zanya,” Zygo said without any affection. The woman’s lips were left in awe as she stared at us.
“Tell me that you are bluffing.”
“I’m not, Zanya.”
