“Oh, that's very generous of you, Mr. Vincent. But I'm not sure if I can go”.

“And why is that, Serena? Paris is a wonderful city to visit, especially during the holiday season. I thought you'd be thrilled”

“It's not that I don't want to go, Mr. Vincent. It's just... I'm enrolled in night classes, and I'm already falling behind. The trip might set me back even further. I'm thrilled that you even considered me”. Which is strange after all that has happened in the past two weeks.
