After the conversation earlier, William and Juliana's father returned home. Juliana's father immediately stepped into the house, while William chose to sit for a while on a wooden seat under a tree with dense leaves. The sun was already hot, but William didn't feel hot under the tree at all.

William pensive for a few moments, many things he was thinking also considered.

William kept rethinking the possibility that his relationship with Juliana might not work out. He felt a little sad and disappointed because he had tried his best, but apparently he still couldn't get Juliana's heart or even the hearts of that woman's family.
