Elena

My parents sold me.

I’m barely on good terms with them, but I could have sworn they cared more about me. Rejecting me for loving the man with my heart, but letting me off with a rumored psychopath. It’s not as if his killings are silent; everyone knows about them, and unfortunately, I have witnessed him kill people.

“Dear, I’ve never been more proud of you than today.” Mother approaches me, taking both of my hands into her warm hands as she strokes them, her eyes almost shedding tears. I am too confused to speak, the words roam freely in my head, unable to form.

“We haven’t been the best parents, but I’m glad your actual mate is someone worthy of you, of your love and your true self.”

“Mother,” I cut her off, inhaling to calm myself down.

“I would like to speak with my parents alone,” I say, my eyes staring down at my mother, not wanting to turn to the psychopath who certainly has a victorious smile on his face by my side.

“There’s no need for all that, Elena. Your father

Elena Ezekiel doesn’t bulge. Not when the door clicked open, not when it clacked shut. He remained still like a rock, snoring and looking annoyingly lazy. I slowly walked to him; he only shifts when the bed dips, but before his eyes can fall open, I aim for his throat. “One move and this knife will send you to meet with your family.” That’s a wrong choice of words; however, he didn’t pity me when I was being harassed and raped by his boss. He had set me up and used me. While that is his level of humanity and his revenge, to which I don’t totally blame him, I also have to fight for my people. It’s sad how we turned out this way, though. “W-what,” The moonlight that filters through the light curtain aids me in witnessing Ezekiel’s fright. The room isn’t relative hot, but I can see sweat bumps sliding down his forehead. “You and I have scores to settle, and it ends today. One of us…is going to die tonight, either you, which would save you from the future torture in your boss’s hands

  • Chased By The Psychopathic Alpha   Favorite Tea

Elena The night passed surprisingly without Dmitri demanding anything from me. He had gone straight to bed, not even refusing when I asked to get a glass of water from the kitchen. Either way, it was a good thing for me because it gave me the chance to speak with Daniela. “Hey,” I whisper yell the minute I’m in the kitchen. Her shoulders tense at first, looking past me as if searching for someone, then they drop when she returns her gaze to me. She rushes, wrapping around me in a warm embrace, finally showcasing the side of her I’m well familiar with. “I’ve missed you so much,” She mutters against my shoulder, and my heart heaves with guilt. How is it that none of them feels the need to shut me out after betraying them? I’m the reason the asshole gained entry back into Mikhail’s life, yet they still welcome me with open arms. “I prepared your favorite tea, hoping to serve it to you tomorrow as breakfast,” She beams as she separates herself from me. Her eyes are a little watery as

Elena “Explain–” My words are cut off as Mikhail pulls me and slams me to the wooden wall. I jolt and wince at the same time. This is nothing near what I expected. I’m the one supposed to be looking this provoked, but here he is right in front of me, caging me between his arms and breathing hard. His eyes are fixed on mine, and it seems like he’s trying to calm down. “You don’t have to get that close to him, y’know,” He says with a low tone, swallowing at the end. I frown. “What do you mean?” If there’s anything I have been doing, it's trying to get away from him. “Linking arms with him, seating so close-” He pauses, perhaps unable to continue. His head drops, but I follow his gaze, not ready to let my eyes off his. I need to know if he’s actually sulking right now. “You’re the one linking arms and hugging your ex-mate, I’ve been clear with my reactions, how I don’t want to be with Dmitri–’“Don’t,” He places his finger across my lips, shutting me up. “Don’t say his name, not whe

  • Chased By The Psychopathic Alpha   The Ex-Mate

Elena Something is burning within me while I fight the great urge to dunk my head. I can’t come out as a coward on the first meeting with my mate’s ex–mate. But then, seeing Mikhail smile at her is the main struggle for me. The tear stings the back of my eye, and it’s just hard to accept that this is just one of his games. The way he looks at her is different from the way he looks at me, and it is not a good thing, not when his grin is so wide and his shoulders are so relaxed as though a treasure once lost has returned. I swallow the acid burning my throat, making my chest burn more. “A full house indeed, I didn’t know you and Beatrice are back together,” Dmitri states, and both Mikhail and his ex’s smiles drop as they both turn to him. First, their eyes are on him, the next second, her eyes dart to mine. I clench my fist, instinctively holding my breath while I keep her gaze. Her smile returns, then she laces her fingers with Mikhail, still staring at me as though she wants me to

ElenaI couldn’t read it. Ezekiel returns so quickly, and he marches past me while shooting me a glare. What? How is it my fault he became a slave? He’s the one who chose this path. I understand his need for revenge, but his foolishness can never be justified. My gaze roams around like it’s my first time being here. But I am waiting for someone…Mother. If everyone is avoiding me, it has to be minus her, because she has every right to speak with me, she’s my mother, Dmitri can’t deny me that. “She’s not here, not anymore.” Darius' voice resonates from behind while he marches up to me. My eyes follow him till he’s standing before me. “What do you mean?” “I guess you don’t know why you are here and why Mikhail let Dmitri return with you,” I shake my head in response. “I’m also not in support of his plan, but I have no much say. Either way, your mother and Esther were sent to live somewhere else under my protection. He wants this fight to remain in this household.” I feel left in

  • Chased By The Psychopathic Alpha   Back To The Pack House

Elena “That was some good acting. Now tell me, what do you want?” Dmitri states that once we are inside his car, with Ezekiel driving us away. I don’t want to leave. I don’t want to leave Mikhail behind; my heart is torn into pieces as the car drives past his. But I swallow and respond to Dmitri. “I told you what I want.” “Just that. I don’t have an issue marking you; however, I must say that’s a little condition for what you’re doing for me.”So shallow-minded. He really thinks I’m on his side. Wait until I ruin you, Dmitri. “Keep this up, and we will be moving into the pack house soon. I need you to have that attitude on till I’ve gotten everything all sorted.”I’m stunned by Dmitri’s words, almost going out of character. It’s hard to keep still after he just said we will be moving into the pack house. Is he being for real right now? Am I about to live between two brothers who hate themselves? “No need to fret, my love, he will be out of there soon, too, and it will just be the
