Dylan POV

"You completely ungrateful bitch." The king was furious as he dragged me up every flight of stairs until he got to his bedroom. I know for a fact that my arm was bruised just from his grip alone and I had no doubt in my mind what was coming my way. "Everything i have done for you, and this is how im repayed? You should be on your knees begging me to accept you, not the other way around".

As soon as we entered his room I was thrown in, my forehead unfortunately made contact with the kings closet door handle and blood instantly trickled down my face. My eyesight blurred slightly and everything became somewhat fuzzy. I know I must have passed out for a few seconds because as soon as I was able to see properly the king was hovering over me.
